That was about Tim Bosma not Dellen. A reporter asked if the picture being painted about TB being a respected devout Christian family man is accurate and he confirmed it by saying yes. Meaning there is nothing in TB's past that would link him to anything like this etc

AM has been identified, interview and cleared of involvment by police.

What do you think he means by that? Was Tim himself the target or was the truck the target and Tim 'got in the way'.

When they say 'tim was the target' it leads me to think that they were looking for Tim and his truck, not neccessarily just the truck...

I'm thinking it's very possible they meant based on him matching certain criteria rather than as a human being/ a personal thing.

They probably needed someone with a certain kind of truck in a certain type of location who was home for a test drive at a certain time, and they "targeted" him because he fit their criteria.

He said they cannot identify it from the Brantford video footage. He has experts looking at the footage. the most he could say was that is was similar to an SUV type, but he didn't want to even say that much as they dont know the kind of vehicle it is. They don't know who was in the following vehicle, male or female, or if there were additional individuals in the following vehicle. They are searching 3 vehicles in total now, including Tim's truck in Hamilton.

He also said that the auto division of the police is going to look at the cars in the hangar, and the reporter asked if that means this is car related and not plane related and he confirmed.

Tim was targetted. He confirmed that Millard and Tim have absolutely no prior connection. AM and DM's mother have been questioned and cleared.

Thanks, I asked before they clarified that he didn't actually have the info. I understood they said Tim *wasn't* targeted though. He emphatically said they were targeting the truck, not the victim.

The day of DM`s arrest there was a pic circulating from a twitter account that the username was connected to cars. It was the pic of a guy in the yellow jeep, with a small plane in the background. It came from AM`s pics.
Im curious... does anyone know HOW the connection was ever made from DM to AM`s fb... given DM did not have a fb at that point.... it is not like he was tagged in those pics.

Where Im going with this is that I wonder if that person knew these guys, and if so I wonder if they deflected the attention off of themselves... and onto AM.
It`s a long shot, but something I`ve been thinking of this afternoon.

Yeah. I can't wrap my head around this. Especially with the other guy in Toronto who was selling the same truck. What, they have it out for men who own Dodge 3500's? I feel more lost now than I did before the presser!

The det said there was absolutely no prior connection between Mr. Bosma and the perps. Seems to reinforce that TB was targeted strictly because of the truck.

Oh, female is not ruled out as 3rd person.

He said they were searching 3 cars in Hamilton. I understood - and could be wrong - that 1 of the cars was Tim's truck.

Even though I don't know AM I'm really glad to hear that he is not involved. Scrolling through his fb I just had a gut feeling that he wasn't a bad guy and I didn't want him to be part of this. (although he could have picked better friends!)

That's not what he said. Kavanaugh said police believe TB was targeted...not necessarily just his truck.

He was not personally targeted because of his person. He was targeted for his vehicle . Probably because it was a rural location too.IMO

Part of the Brantford video - not sure from who exactly. There were no other vehicles that night but the truck and the second vehicle, I think he said.

DM does have a Fbook account this was covered several days ago and he was on AM friends list.

I have a theory... Why Tim was targeted.

Suppose Tim purchased truck used... That truck may have been orig owned by DM or other suspects. What if there was drugs and or money stashed in the vehicle and they were trying to recover it for themselves...

Lots of holes in this theory I'm sure but I can't figure out why they targeted Tim.

I took it to mean Tim himself was targeted instead of the truck. This statement could be taken either way. If Tim was targeted, it would indicate to me that it may have been a revenge type deal - but for what?

Can anyone tell how long after DM was arrested that SS deleted his facebook account? I know someone said he probably deleted it because of the comments AM was getting on his but I think it was deleted so quickly that there really werent people leaving comments on it. Can someone confirm?

It was deleted before noon Sunday to my knowledge.
