How does anyone know for sure that the incinerator found on the farm is the brand "Eliminator"? The one I've seen in pictures posted here looks nothing like the ones from the supernovamfg / Eliminator website?

So, I'm going to float a theory, because I have a second vehicle being involved just to drop the two off doesn't really make sense when they could theoretically just as easily have dropped off the truck/trailer nearby and driven Tim's truck straight into that in a secluded area in order to avoid detection.

MOO, I think the reason they weren't worried about people seeing DM is because maybe the second vehicle was there in order to stage a carjacking. That would explain the need for at least two people in the second vehicle as well. One of the guys in the other vehicle to force TB out of the passenger seat of the truck, and order DM to drive away "at gunpoint" and a second one to drive the second car from the scene. Then they'd have had the truck, be looking for the mysterious carjackers, and nobody would suspect the rich kid who doesn't need to steal a truck had anything to do with it. But things didn't go as planned.

in that case all they had to do was wait for Tim to drive down the country road and actually carjack him without involving a 'test drive' excuse and previous phonecalls to him

wayyyyyyy too complicated IMO

OT

Im new on this board and I find the threads a little disorganized amd hard to find without linking directly from search, so Im not sure if a thread exists for this case.

Anyhow I would hate to think that a missing 17 year old kid who may still be alive <modsnip> from Toronto, and as we are all local to this case I thought I would post this here and alert you all to it. Mods can do what they will.

It doesn't look identical to the models currently shown on the Eliminator website but it appear to have a Red "Eliminator" logo on the side.

I suppose it could be a different make but in principal these crematoriums all work the same.

RIP Tim. A beautiful soul who was kind, loving and trusting. Your tragic and untimely death has taught so many of us in a need of prayers, community support and help we have come together to lend a hand. Unfortunately we have learnt a lesson the hard way. We cannot always trust people to be honest, kind or sincere. Evil does lurk amongst us and we must all take precautions when dealing with strangers.

My deepest sympathies to your family and those who loved you dearly.

I'm curious about this whole tattoo business. As I understand it, unidentified Big Guy lucky non-victim described one bogus car buyer as having the "Ambition" tattoo enclosed on a box on his wrist. Then later TB's wife reportedly confirmed she saw the "Ambition" tattoo "where one usually wears a watch." Please correct me if either recollection is wrong. Oh yes, and much earlier in the piece some reporter went off to a tattoo shop to look at their catalogue and found this is a standard tattoo although usually written in more flambuoyant letters and occupying the length of one's inner forearm. (It's a longish word to write across one's wrist.)

So my questions about all this have to do with the photos we've seen in which (a) the word "Ambition" appears to be tattooed rather amateurishly on BOTH arms, not just one. Frankly it almost looks like the sort of thing one might crudely print on one's own arms with a felt pen, not a professional job at all. (b) the words are NOT enclosed in a box frame. (c) While the "where one usually wears a watch" might just be meant as a generically useful location definition, obviously most people don't wear wrist watches on both arms and, anyway (d) the words are tattooed much further up both arms than one would normally wear a watch.

This tattoo (or tattoos) is extremely important in building the case against DM, imho, maybe essential. Does anybody have more accurate information, pics or MSM links on the subject?

But if TB's wife was close enough to see the 'ambition tattoo' on the perp who came to her and Tim's home, wouldn't she also have seen the face of the person with that tattoo...and as such been able to confirm that that person was DM? So if LE provided her with pictures and one of those pics was DM and she could say "that's the guy that came to the house, he had the tattoo" wouldn't that be all that was needed, even moreso than the 'tattoo angle' to confirm it was DM? Perhaps she's the one who answered the door when they came by to see the truck.

You'd have thought that with long-sleeved hoodies that a wrist tattoo wouldn't be all that visible unless sleeves pushed up?

yes-- standard procedure in a situation like this: police sift through dirt, ashes what have you... there was an article today that mentioned this was occurring in ayr...

This shivery goose bump raising stuff is definitely too soon, imo, but if you must know more, check WIKI on the subject to find that Hollywood movies notwithstanding, cremation doesn't do a very good job on bones at all. Apparently they have to use a bone crusher to satisfactorily grind you into ashes. Then there's all the rest of the detritus, jewellery, dental fillings and other such, that apparently the crematoria sells for scrap metal.

A backyard incineration might make you unidentifiable but only until the DNA results are available. I suppose cause of death would be difficult to determine though unless knives or bullets grazed bones. It's all too gross and too late for this. I'm going to give myself nightmares.

Anyway, for anybody seeking a morbidity high, this link definitely oughta do it.

Is it possible that the incinerator belonged to the previous owners of this farm and was purchased with the property? Did the previous owners have livestock? Although the incinerator appeared to be in very 'new' condition, perhaps it had been stored in a barn or outbuilding for a long period of time?

I wonder what the 100 acre Ingersoll parcel owned by the grandfather consisted of. Just thinking there may be some type of farming operation there that could have utilized such equipment. Don't know if it's still in the family or was sold off at some point, possibly after Carl died in 2006??

What was the weather like in Ancaster on the night of May 6?

Seen this posted at the Brantford-Who is talking site, just re-copying " Fri may 17 @ 7-10. Come to harmony square downtown brantford and light a candle for the passing of Tim Bosma. Everyone is welcome." I hope they get a good turnout :)

Hi all, First time posting.

I grew up in the Hamilton, Dundas and Ancaster area. I now live overseas but have been following this case with interest from the beginning.

Lots of interesting conspiracy theories out there hard to keep up.

Couple things bugging me:

1. With so much evidence piling up again DM, why is he staying silent instead of negotiating a deal? His lawyers comments about his humility, wealth, and education are laughable (and kind of sleazy). As if no pampered rich guy has ever stole from someone who had less than him before. Has anyone looked into whether he has had any other high profile clients? Any perhaps with connections to organised crime? Is there something that DM could be more afraid of then going to jail to the rest of his life?

2. Why go to all that trouble to burn and hide TB's remains but leave the truck relatively (as far as we know) intact? If it were me I'd have disassembled every nut and bolt and dumped the lot in the middle of Lake Ontario. What could make that particular truck be THAT important to them? Just a race? Or is the theory now that murder could have been the motive in itself?

3. Because of where I live I'm able to read articles in the press quite early in the morning (or the middle of the night for you North American posters). I was the 2nd person to comment on AM's infamous Facebook picture of DM in front of the red Ram. I figured he'd immediately change his settings so all I posted was a couple numbers for TB hotlines and a Crimestoppers link. However, I deleted my comment when that page quickly became a focus of outrage and hate. Before he took down his page I was able to root around his other pictures and pull a cell phone number for AM off the comments. Has anyone else mentioned or seen this?

Sorry if all of this has been covered. It's impossible to keep up with all the material. Doing my best. x

:seeya: Guys, you can't sleuth obits and post names and telephone numbers because the obit might be bogus. What if it's not? I see where you're going, and you're certainly free to pursue on your own. Can't post it here, though. Sorry.

No, that's cool.

Would you like to make a donation to the fund though? I'd like to see whose bank account your cheque clears through. :floorlaugh:
