''Tru lives in Ancaster, has ties to Burlington and previously lived in Erin, Ont., according to a missing person bulletin posted by Ontario Provincial Police's Indigenous Bureau.

Police describe him as five feet three inches tall, 130 lbs, slim, with short, black hair. He may be wearing a black or grey crew neck, sweater, dark grey athletic pants, an orange beanie and carrying a black school bag with his name, “Tru,” stitched on it.

According to Walker, Tru’s family contacted police to report he was missing after he walked away from his home.

Family members are concerned about his well-being and are asking the public to keep an eye out for him.

"We are actively canvassing for video to determine his direction of travel and the stops, if any, that he may have had along the way," she said.

Police suggest it's best to contact them directly if Tru is seen. They also suggest coming forward with information “no matter how insignificant it may seem.”
