The two bodies were found within 24 hours of one another, one near the Toronto Yacht Club and the other near Wincott Park.

Toronto police extracted the body of an unidentified woman from the Humber River on Saturday morning after it was spotted by a passerby.

The body was spotted near the Toronto Yacht Club on Friday afternoon. Police say because the river was frozen, they body was not able to be extracted until the following day.
Later on Saturday afternoon, a passerby spotted what appeared to be a second person floating in a creek in Wincott Park at Dixon Rd. and Wincott Dr. The creek is connected to Humber River.
Douglas-Cook added that the incidents happened in two separate divisions but that the units would “compare notes,” so to speak

[h=1]Police investigating after frozen body found near Toronto Humber Yacht Club[/h] [h=2]A passerby discovered the body at around 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3[/h]
Once the body is removed, it will likely be sent to forensics for analysis, which includes a pathology report by the Ontario Coroner's Office to determine the cause of death as well as examining dental and other records in an effort to determine an identity. Reports of missing persons could also be cross-referenced to come up with a match.

If you have any information about this investigation, contact 11 Division directly
