OTTAWA — Johnny McCavour burst into Tim Hortons and confronted the weasel and slimy girlfriend accomplice who broke into his car and stole his stuff.

Nine of the 11 customers in the restaurant were his buddies — in on the sting and waiting to block the exits.

One of them a soldier with hand-to-hand combat experience, another trained in martial arts.
