''Lennox and Addington OPP announced on Tuesday that they are putting up $50,000 if someone can help them solve the 1992 murder of William Neil.

Neil was found dead in a single-vehicle crash on Cutler Rd. near Yarker on Valentine's Day.

Investigators say the 56-year-old was fatally shot and a firearm was found discarded near the scene.

They say the investigation traced his actions in the hours leading up to his death.

Investigators say he was seen leaving his business east of Odessa visibly upset after receiving a phone call.''

'Detective Staff Sergeant Erin Thomas with the OPP’s Criminal Investigation Branch says over the years this case has been reviewed and reinvestigated.

“Each thread of evidence that we have and that we’ve gathered has been re-examined sometimes more than once. Possible suspects have been re-evaluated at every stage and we still believe this case is solvable,” said Thomas.
