Ray was last seen in Sandy Lake, Ontario on September 1, 1960.*** He lived with his father on Favourable Lake where they hunted, fished, and trapped. The area is remote and virtually uninhabited. Ray was reportedly very comfortable living in the outdoors and could sustain himself for quite sometime. On the morning in question, he departed the camp to hunt and did not return. He has never been heard from again. There was a 12 gauge shotgun missing from his residence, but the boats he frequently used were all accounted for. Ray was reported missing on September 30, 1960. His whereabouts remain unknown.
