On June 18, 1979, the body of an unidentified male was found in the Detroit River near Riverside Drive and Crawford Avenue in the city of Windsor, Ontario. His post-mortem weight was recorded as being 145lbs, however, this measurement may not represent his actual living weight due to post-mortem changes noted at autopsy. His appendix was present. He is believed to have been in the water for 1 week to six months.
