Toronto Police received reports at 4:40 p.m. of a woman stabbed at Seaton St. and Callaghan Lane near Dundas St. E. and Sherbourne St.
Police say paramedics transported the victim to hospital with serious injuries, but she later died.
No suspect description was given.
Cops said homicide detectives were notified and that the investigation is ongoing.''

The Toronto Police Service is making the public aware of a homicide investigation.
On Saturday, September 9, 2023 at approximately 4:40 p.m., police responded to a call for an unknown trouble in the Seaton Street and Callaghan Lane area.
It is reported that:

• a woman was in distress
• officers located a woman with stab wounds
• she was transported to hospital with serious injuries
• she later succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased

The investigation remains ongoing.

Toronto police have identified the 36-year-old woman fatally stabbed in Cabbagetown last Saturday.
