Yes, that's very true, but I've never known Presbyterians or other protestants to wear a religious medal as Yu Soon Ju is, unless it's a St. Christopher medal. I was raised Catholic, and recognized it immediately. It looks to me to be a medal of Mary, rather than a St. Christopher medal. It's a little hard to see, but I compared it to other medals on the link in my earlier post. I've been known to be wrong, however.
There is a Korean Catholic Church in Toronto and a Korean Catholic organization at the university. I zeroed in on the Holy Family Roman Catholic Church initially because it's a block away from where she was last seen. But she may well go to St. Andrew Kim Korean Catholic Church, or one of many other Catholic Churches in Toronto. Or, as you suggest, she may be Presbyterian or....
We don't even know where she lived or worked. There's too little information about her, unfortunately.
