The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance locating a missing person.

Yuk, 70, was last heard from on Saturday, July 5, 2025, in the Brimley Road and Ellesmere Road area.

Yuk is described as 5'5" with a slim build, long black hair and a single earing in each ear.

Police are concerned for their safety.

Police are still searching for a 70-year-old woman who has been missing since July 5, 2025.

Homicide and Missing Persons Unit

The Toronto Police Service is making the public aware of a Homicide investigation.
On Wednesday, July 9, 2025, police responded to a call for a Missing Person in the Brimley Road and Omni Drive area.

It is alleged that:
  • a woman was reported missing to police
  • the circumstances surrounding her disappearance were deemed suspicious
  • on Friday, July 11, 2025, at 12:06 a.m., officers located the victim deceased in the Highway 401 and Whites Road area
  • a man associated to the victim has been arrested
The victim has been identified as Yuk Kwan Chu, 67, of Toronto.
Zhi Kuang, 60, of Toronto, has been charged with:

  1. First Degree Murder
He was scheduled to attend court at the Toronto Regional Bail Centre, 2201 Finch Avenue West, on Friday, July 11, 2025, in room 103, at 10 a.m.''
''A day earlier, Homicide Det.-Sgt. Phillip Campbell said the man and woman were known to one another.
They were in a common-law relationship,” he said.
Police said the man was in custody before the murder charge was announced.''
