Found Deceased Canada - Yves Cyr, 41, Gatineau, QC, 8 Dec 2015

Missing since December 8th when he didn't come home from work.

Last seen in the industrial park on Airport Road.

Cyr is described as:
- White
- 5'6
- 221 lbs
- Blue eyes
- Brown hair
- Speaks French

I am local to this but had not heard a peep until this thread. The area the truck was found is a main route, with lots of shopping, restaurants, etc. I would think there would be a number of possible cameras that may have seen the truck, or Yves himself if he left on foot or got into another vehicle. The McDonald's I believe they are indicating even shares a parking lot space with an auto repair shop.

It would be a pretty logical stop along the route from the airport if you were heading towards the more typically residential areas.

His wife's quotes are so piercingly sad.

Where does Yves work? Does he have any coworkers? Did he leave his workplace at the usual time? Did he even show at work that day?

Just a few observations, Airport Road isnt a very long street, approx. 1.5 km.

It seems the McDonalds where his truck was found (@ 378 Maloney) is the closest McD's to Airport Road....it is also a 24 hour location FWIW.

Just to add, there is a lot of green space (& the river) somewhat close to where the truck was found.

...Police were asked whether a security camera took any pictures of the person who was driving the truck when it was left at the McDonald’s. They said they couldn’t answer that or it might jeopardize the investigation.

It sounds to me as if he was the one that left the vehicle at the McDonald's parking lot. I'm hoping he just needed time away.

-truck pulled into McD's lot at 10:10pm Monday
