Car dealer pulls ad after dozens of 911 calls

A car dealer in Sperry, Des Moins County, Iowa, had the great idea of posing a mannequin on top of a billboard ad for his dealership.

After dozens of 911 calls about a suicidal man on top of a billboard, the dealership owner agreed with the local sheriff's office that it might be a good idea to remove the mannequin.

A local bank in my area has a billboard with 2 "people" and a dog on top. Since it is winter now, they have added a snowman. It is a bit unnerving to look up there and see them. They are not as real-looking as the one in the original post here though.
