Aaaaand not even a week after I finished The Killing Season (and started catching up on this subforum) this happens a stone's throw away from me.. like.. having passed this apartment complex multiple times a week.

Do we know what his connection is to the Bronx yet? Or was that just a coincidental ending point for the rest of the remains? Why keep the rest?! Ugh..

I live close by, also. From what I read, this guy doesn't necessarily have a connection to the Bronx. He probably dumped her in the trash in Brooklyn and the trash got shipped to Metropolitan, which receives garbage from all 5 boroughs.

It was mentioned the parts were found in Hunts Point. This area is known for having many prostitutes because there are a lot of truckers delivering produce etc down there. Lots of warehouses around. Hookers use steel drums on the corners to burn stuff in to keep warm in winter.

The body parts that were found belonged to the head and foot in Mose's freezer. It was his girlfriend. Her foot in his freezer had his name tattooed on it. It was in today's NY POST.

Good find scotiansleuth. The possible burlap is hard to ignore. I *think* I found her or a closely related case in NamUs but she's listed as Asian and the date found is two days off but in the same place (I think -I checked the address where she was found and it does appear to be a truck stop)

On August 8, 2004, the remains of black female were found in a wooded area just behind the Plainville Truck stop. A Skull and a woman's toros were found buried in a shallow grave buried by either a blanket or a burlap. Law Enforcement estimates that she may have been between the ages of 25 to 35 years old and her height may have been between 4 foot 9 inches to 5 foot 3 inches. There was no answer as to how she died but she was placed there by someone. The victim may have also been bi-racial and been at the site for at least three to ten years.

Hi guys, newbie here, one of the profilers on the TV show mentioned foot fetish and it occurred to me that AC and Daytona Beach murders both had victims feet highlighted. one with fully clothed victims but barefoot and the other fully naked but with socks. The police and media have been vague in how they found each of the gb4.. nobody seems to know whether the bodies were stored before they were dumped, or whether each of the victims were wrapped in burlap bags or sheets. Plus, amber costello only went missing just a couple months before they were all found. Its hard to imagine that each of the gb4 were all skeletons by then. Hopefully it was police or crime scene protocol to take photos of the gb4 findings before disturbing them and removing them from the brush. Those photos, if they exist, have valuable information to this case. For all we know the gb4 could have been stored and dumbed AFTER shannon gilbert went missing.

We have gathered that the GB4 were dumped with at least some of their belongings. Amber was identified by an insurance card found with her body. No word on shoes. I believe it has been implied (but not confirmed) that they didn't have their clothing. At least one body still had a ligature around the neck. ☹️️
