However, there is, according to Dr. Schurman-Kauflin, a way to break her.

"The strain of the current situation will wear on those around her and pressure her to explain her behavior. Because she cannot explain her lies, she will blame everyone else. She will want to flee. She may even reach for religion as a means to cope, and depression is likely to follow. Then police will be able to talk with her to find out what she really knows. Detectives will be able to get information from her. The key for officers is to know her patterns and approach her the right way. If they key in on her personality, they will be able to get her to tell what really happened."

From the second profile of KC back in early August.

I don't know what game JB and KC are playing, but this portion of the profile keeps popping back into my head.

Aha this is why JB wants her out she is cracking under the pressure and he can sense it afraid she will talk if he gets her a vacation from the pressure then she can come home refreshed and feeling good about herself you know helping look for her daughter and all..Casey needs to stay right where she is ...

I'm sure she's going stir crazy in the house with her parents. That's why she spends all day at JB's office. But I'm sure that's boring, too. She doesn't want to look for Caylee, she wants the freedom to visit friends and get some kind of social life back. This is her excuse. If she really had information or ideas as to where Caylee might be (pretending that she really is innocent) then she should have and would have given that information to LE already, long ago. There is no reason why SHE needs to go search these places herself.
What friends do you really think she has any friends left..but you are right
if she has any idea where Caylee is then she needs to tell LE and the search team FBI let them go find her ...Casey thinks that the judge is an idiot like her parents and he's just going to fall for her BS and let her go on vacation...

Don't know if this would be a possibility, but I think it would be fun for the judge to GRANT the motion for her to "look for Caylee", but not grant the privacy part. She could have a pack of reporters and cameras following her!

They can try to seed all they want no jury is gonna bye it period.Maybe if they tried it when KC was first released and I say a big maybe. I would say the DA would be more then happy to let it in court. Im sure they would love to point out the date that it was filed that she wanted to search for her child just a few weeks before her trial. It just wont wash with a jury.
Interesting that Todd B. said he was busy conducting focus groups this past weekend and now Casey is trying to look sympathetic to the cause. I betcha the groups shared that she has done ABSOLUTELY nothing to look for her daughter or shed light on where she may be. Why does she need to be at the hearing on Friday? Makes me want to puke!

I really, really, really hope that the media has a camera in the courtroom on Friday. I just read the article on the update thread that said Casey will be allowed to leave home at 8:30 am to attend court. After she is allowed to go to JB's office and home by 4 pm.

Please let this be televised! I can't wait to hear what Judge Strickland will have to say about these motions.

Doesn't matter if the denied motion is admissible in trial. It's already in the press. Front page news. When it's denied, there will be even more about it. They are seeding the jury pool with lots of information to create doubt.
Well according to Todd B. things look pretty cool with the jury pool.

No doubt KC is under pressure right now and more especially so since she can't use her method of coping (male attention; multiple sex partners). The only thing I disagree with the assessment is that I doubt that she'll revisit religion, she already did that when she was dating JG. But the need to get out of the house is without a doubt driving her crazy. I am glad this is happening because I don't think she would've cracked in jail, since the forces working at home are much different than the ones in jail (remember the many times she turned down visitation).

I am speechless and beyond speculating about why KC says or does anything anymore. This request to be allowed to walk about, "looking for her daughter," is just another evil ruse.

I am praying that LE will find little Caylee, or what's left of her. I pray for the lies and confusion surrounding her family to STOP, and that Caylee will be found today.

I imagine if we look up "entitlement," we'll see her picture. :-(

Just heard on WESH that KC will not search with TES as it would mean Caylee is dead

I think it's in Kc's best interest to stay FAR FAR away from Tim. I can't imagine he looks too kindly on child murders. :furious:

Although, if she was to actually search I'd love for her to be with TES so they can keep their eyes on her. Maybe she'd slip up and look scared the closer they got to sweet little Caylee's body. :chicken:

I pray for the TES members and all of the searchers every day, that they have the patience and fortitude to be able to bring this precious baby girl home for good. :blowkiss: I so pray that this weekend will bring the end of those prayers because they will have been answered.

If KC has any BPD in her ... she can't go long without some type of 'excitement' or in her case, movement ... attention, SOMETHING.

If there's nothing going on, she'll create it.

  • #35
Wouldn't she have to be SPECIFIC about where she would search? Dumpsters, swamps, or beaches and clubs of San Juan?

Apparently JBs office just isn't cutting it anymore!

Does she get to stop by Waffle House after court? I am sure she will ask for that & a late nite Taco Bell run. A girl's gotta eat, right?

Okay, no secret search for Caylee, no Waffle House, no late nite runs to Taco Bell, but Jennie Craig can approved as she is getting some junk in the trunk. On second thought, no Jenny, the work out yard at the jail is just fine.:behindbar

I wonder if she hangs out in the BACKYARD at home.

Me too.
I am hoping one or more of the local Orlando stations will be covering this.

Celt1997 - http://www.fusianultralounge.com/ This one is still open too!

I must be confused
I thought Casey and friends went to Club Fusion which is a nightclub in downtown Orlando, where many other nightclubs are and where the college crowd can be found.
The Fusian Ultra Lounge you posted is a restaurant in East Orange County that serves lunch/Sushi etc and then becomes a Martini bar and upscale restaurant in the evening,

I will have to go back and read, but I think she was partying downtown Orlando at Club Fusion
