I'm with y'a on this one. The timing of the tattoo just didn't pass the smell test IMO.

I'm not into 'ink' nor do I know anyone who is; nor have I had the time to closely follow Haleigh's case. These qualifiers are to show that for all I know, your instincts may be correct. However, it's my understanding that RC had the names of both children permanently placed on his body. It's also my understanding that people who like tattoo's often have their children's names or something else to signify their children tattoo'd. Again, your instincts may be correct but I don't think this tattoo is evidence of it, if so.

On the other hand, there has been some discussion of KC's tatoo, whether it is a remembrance of Caylee or a salute to her new life. Given that we read the phrase "Bella mia" in this chat, I'm leaning toward this selection by KC was more to impress TL than anything. I also suspect it was a salute to her new life. I do not think it had anything to do with Caylee who was out of sight and out of mind, imo.

I know. It does show that she's wanting to share something that Caylee did that she thought was cute. I think Caylee was just asleep, not drugged. And I also think, with this comment and the potty training comment, she was trying to change the subject. Either to get TonE off of his idea of coming over, or to try to get him interested in her daughter.

I totally agree with you eg@gm, I thought that same thing when I read it...but I also got the impression that TL could've cared less about any cute thing Caylee was doing...he just wanted to hang with KC and be a guy and party. But I'm sure KC picked up on that too--TL's blase attitude about Caylee--and that might have motivated her all the more to get rid of Caylee and her "motherly duties." If there were no Caylee than KC could have left her parents house to please her beloved TonE that she was so infatuated with. The only reason why she was stuck at home that night was because she had to keep an eye on her sleeping daughter.....no sleeping daughter = freedom = TonE TonE TonE.....

I do not know if she planned to do away with Cindy and George or not but she had planned for them to leave the house to her.
Maybe Casey thought that if Caylee was gone, kidnapped or dead or just missing, that her parents would not want to live in the house anymore without her.
Casey had some sort of evil plan I am sure of.

Not sure if this has been mentioned anywhere yet..but was reading another thread and had one of those lightbulb moments....the 3 days KC may have been referring to in these text messages with Tony coincides with CA being on vacation. I remember reading somewhere that CA was taking vacation time from work and she and I think GA were supposed to be going away somewhere (to visit relatives maybe?) and their plans changed. KC would have pretended that her parents had moved out...to both AL and AH.

My thoughts are the same as yours on this. I think the tattoo was for tonE, a sort of "cheers" toward her new life, toward the "good people" she had in her life (in the journal that we are unsure of the actual date, she wrote something to the effect of surrounding herself with good or positive people), the good life she thought she was about to begin living.

I don't think Caylee was on her mind one bit while deciding on that tattoo. Why would she get "beautiful life" for Caylee when she'd just killed her and was living a beautiful life without her? Obviously she didn't feel Caylee's life was very beautiful.. Yeah, I agree with you, this tat has nothing to do with Caylee... which is nothing new if we think about it.. nothing Casey did had anything to do with Caylee.

You're quite right. According to the calendar in the sticky threads, Cindy and George went to the beach on June 10, which would have coincided with Casey's statement about them being gone in 3 days. If I recall correctly, Cindy's plan for an extended vacation was canceled. I do not recall any concrete reason why other than Cindy didn't feel like going. So they may have gone to the beach, but they didn't stay for very long.

On June 10, 2008, Casey tells TonE that "in three days to be exact" that her parents were "moving out" of Hopespring and that they could then do what they wanted there!!!

I think Bad Seed was planning on something happening to GA and CA...just my opinion.

I've thought this too!Have ever since Amy told Cindy she thought she was moving into the house on Hopespring Drive.That's disturbing...unfortunately Caylee went first.

Okay, I need some help...Jesse, or someone, said that Casey got new friends and that is when she changed. Who are her new friends, and who are her old? I take it that Amy is the new friend. But isn't Lauren the old friend? (And I think that is her name...the brunette who was a beer wench.) I mean, cause several pics have Ricardo, Amy, and the brunette. Is Ricardo considered a new or old friend. TonE I know is new. But who are his friends? Am I making since?

What boggles my mind is (and I'm not placing blame on TL) why do these guys date women with children if they are simply not interested? I firmly believe that the reason that she got rid of Caylee is because of TL.

He mentions having "lab" a few times in their conversations. I assume lab is something for school, but he gets out of lab at 1AM. What? Who's teaching this thing?

In film school, "lab" is a little different than the normal science lab with teacher type thing. I know art schools have labs for recording, photography, dark rooms, sound engineering, etc., that you use to work on projects outside of class. At least here, NYU and SVA (school of visual arts) have labs open til 3 or 4am around finals time so all the students can get their time in. Library is open 24 hours starting 3 weeks before exams.

So I didn't think that was too weird since it was towards the end of the semester-

I also think that TL is some of the reason she killed Caylee. I actually think it was a combination of the new friends who were more partiers than her old friends, fights with CA and her new Bella Vita with TL. When she was with RM he didn't mind if she brought Caylee over but TL didn't think his place was a good place to bring a child and even though he was right and it's no fault of his, I think that has loads to do with why KC killed Caylee.

Unfortunately this happens alot. Its one of the main reasons mother kill a child. Their new love interest is not interested in their children, so to please him they kill their children. I just can't wrap my head around the warped "logic".

I totally agree. Girls who LET guys treat them badly get what THEY let happen. TonE was forcing nothing on KC. She was a willing volunteer. Besides, I doubt he treated her that badly. Guys his age like sex and lasagna and will pretty much take what they can get. If girls get more serious than they want them too, guys that age start distancing themselves. Alert on that to all young women who haven't figured it out by now. Don't do the guy if you don't want to get screwed unless you know him well enough to know that he wants what you want from a relationship. DANGER, Wilma Robinson! Use caution! Girls have got to be able to use their brains and pick up on the dynamics of the situations they put themselves in and to get the heck out if they don't want what's offered. KC is the bad one here. She killed her own baby, stole from her friends and got them all emboiled her big mess which has risked their reputations and identity theft, just because they associated with her. In the end, it was KC who misused TonE, not the other way around.

Full Sail operates literally around the clock. There are students there at all hours of the day and night. It's an an intensive program with an accellerated curriculum. During a given unit, a kid could go to school all day long, all night long, or part of the day and part of the night.

Very true.
The fact that she would have anything to do with guys who spoke to her the way AR and TL did in their IMs shows that she probably either had low self-esteem or just didn't know there are nicer guys than this and she shouldn't put up with this. Some girls have this problem, not seeing the red flags.

Her speech in the IMs with AR and TL seems to mirror theirs to an extent.

kc had a nice guy in Jesse and got bored of him. Nice Guys aren't "cool". They aren't exciting. They aren't organizing parties. Do we really have to get into the whole nice guy jerk debate here that's done over and over again on daytime television? Jerks do have behaviors that are highly attractive to women. Simply examine your own relationship histories. Usually sometime in her late 20s or 30s women realize that it might be more intelligent to ditch the "gansta" for the engineer making 6 figures. KC was obviously not there yet and just entering her bad boy phase after dispensing with Jesse. In fact she turned Jesse into the loyal friend she could go to when her bad boys did something "bad".

The "boss" comment brings to mind gansta speak. A theme that seems to be present throughout her time with TL and the Fusian crew. I think this shows Caylee was around that influence a lot.

Thanks for posting this exchange and the link. To be honest, when KC talks about Caylee calling herself a boss, and patting herself on the chest, that shows mommy pride. Doesn't fit in with the rest of her behavior, and sure doesn't fit in with her comment right before this one.

Tony or his roomate (maybe Clint? I forget) taught her to say that (the boss thing), and I believe at the pool (9th?) he thought it was so cute that she was running around tell everyone at the pool that she was a boss (or something).. It was in an interview months back, sorry I don't have a link handy.
