I have a question and sorry if this has been brought up before, but, here goes....

Regarding the 'flurry' of phone calls made by Casey on June 16th(I think thats the date?)- this strikes me as odd, I dont know why but I get a weird feeling from it. Like, I keep getting this thought in my head, what is the chances of calling all those people (Cindy, George, Tony, a few other people) repeatedly and at different locations (home, work, voicemail, etc) and not reaching any of those people atleast once. Is it possible at all that she did reach one or more of them, if only talking to them for a brief minute? Has there been any questioning to the people called on if they accepted those calls, or what messages may have been left, or if they returned the calls? Sorry if this sounds confusing, but I guess what Im trying to say is, lets say you are George or Cindy, you are getting multiple calls to your voicemail, cellphone or whatever, wouldnt there be a message left or atleast a notification of missed calls, and wouldnt you then return that call to your daughter to find out what the problem was? Has there been any investigation into that, from either of thier cell phone, work phone, home phone records to see if they picked up any calls, if there were messages left or erased, or if they made a call back to her? It just seems wierd to frantically try to reach all of these people over a period of time and not one person is available or returns the missed(if they were missed) calls? Could someone please answer or enlighten me on that? Its been bothering me for awhile. It also sort of haunts me that if no one did pick up or return her calls, what if they had, would Caylee be here today? And that really breaks me heart.
I think they were all mad at each other for something. Maybe they thought she just was looking for a babysitter.

Because imo, Baez is an idiot and a little too enamoured with his client. jmo. No lawyer needs to spend 6 hours a day with his client on business only. Baez has been described by one poster as a snake oil salesman and I concur with that assessment. Clients don't NUZZLE their attorneys in front of the media. There's something wrong in that relationship imo
I know what you mean. I've read that theory. Baez's shoulder rubbed against Casey's head when they were making their way through a dangerous media frenzy on the day Casey was bonded out of prison. That could only mean that the two of them are now having an affair. Same thing about the six hour meetings. I suppose that the meetings couldn't have anything to do with the complexity of the case.
Show me a lawyer who spends hour upon hour with their client in a jail setting. They spend a very short period of time with them - never the amounts of time that JB spends with Casey. jmo

Show you? I can't show you anything over the internet but I can assure you that a six hour attorney-client meeting is not unusual for a case like this one and moreover, does not correlate to a sexual affair between Casey and Baez.

But that's merely my opinion. We can disagree.

I found young adults use "speed dial" or voice activated "call Tony". They don't memorize numbers anymore.

I don't know many numbers myself, because they are all programed in my phones. That is why I keep a backup of all of them.

Yes I do and she argued on other shows as well, its also the media's fault along with LE. Gram C calls LE911 but its still, everyone else is at fault for not listeneing to Casey code. Gram C said Casey gave her hints for a mth, well what were those hints? Clearly the family is solid in backing Casey's original statements of the nanny/baby sitter but their mixed up dates fall thru for the story. Babysitter for the most part was also Gram C.

Exactly! Zanny=Nanny=Granny imo

I didn't know my husband's phone # until 1 month after we were married...I always used my cell w/ speed dial and never thought about it until my phone was dead and I couldn't find my charger...then I realized it was about time to learn his number:waitasec: Ah, the age of cell phones has made us stupid :bang:

Quick question - When Casey was first arrested, she called home and asked for Tony's phone number.

He was her boyfriend. How come she didn't have his number?

B/C like most of us she probably just programmed it into her phone and hit his name. Don't know for sure of course. Just a guess.

Wait, not 6 hours...

6 hours one day, 6 the next...6 the next....Does this guy have any other clients??? And all with his client saying NOTHING!

And remember, he is not defending her on murder charges! They are lying and child neglect. But JMO....maybe you know something else...

Don't you suppose that LE monitors Baez's public statements?

i don't have time to deal with your whole post, but re this point..

I certainly do...and I think the prosecuting attorneys will too...and I think it can be assumed they were made on instructions and that the statements he is making now, can, and will be used against her at her trial. Now they can say, "but you told your lawyer this", and she either has to deny or admit it...if she denies it, then Baez becomes a witness. IMOO

I have a question about something I haven't seen addressed.

Casey kept clothes and such in duffel bags at Tony's apartment, right?

Have those duffel bags been accounted for?

Any update news come on tonight?

How do you know the case against OJ was stronger since there hasn't been a formal setting where all the evidence and testimony has been shared?

I'm going by what was presented during the trial itself.

But the Scott Peterson case took Geragos right out of the spotlight. He used to be a commentator on many shows. When that case was over..you never see him. The public hates him.

Not hate him for defending Scott. For saying he would find the real killers and then not even being able to mount any defense, Blowing off his big mouth, like Baez!

Tracy, I learned to hate him long before the trial. I watched him plant his feet on the courthouse steps and spew lie after lie after lie. The courts had to hire a temporary clerk JUST to handle his paperwork. I lived in modesto for 25 years and all of his crapola was just made up garbage - including planting false stories in the media in town. Geragos tries his cases in the media. He even managed to get his lies out by using his "friends" during the trial. I had a good friend at the trial and daily he would go into the men's room with two or three of his informants and they would come out and step up to the mikes to spread his lies. I've heard of women going to the ladies room in groups, but men?

IIRC it was on tv and they saw themselves and all the chatter about GP taking trash out so then they had to open their mouths and explain.

They need to just hush...and should have from day one. They have caused so much of this circus themselves IMO.

I agree, it would benefit George and Cindy greatly to stay out of the media, but then again, shouldn't a man be able to carry his trash out to the curb without it becoming a media event?
