It IS an amazing art! The dogs trained are so accurate. The entire process is so accurate no matter how morbid it was thought at first.

I have a theory that if something happened that the people here who say they did not believe these dogs...would have loved ones that were lost and the dogs led them to their bodies because of such a place...they would be so grateful. I would be. It IS the reason they do what they do and why people who understand it will stand behind the forensics.

People still want to debate. Its difficult when you know the practice and also understand the forensics. No more circles for me , sad but its Caylee and so many people will not accept that reality. But, what if, dogs, misses, 1-2 dogs.
Time to pour another cup of Joe :)

Putrefaction aka decomposition:

Just did some research on this and found some interesting information. Main components are putrescine and cadaverine. These molecules are produced by decaying animals. Yes, you read that correctly, animals. Nothing that I found reports anything unique to human decomposition as compared to any other animal that is decomposing.

I have been thinking about the air test. Being a Bio/Chem major, I couldn't quite understand the importance or urgency of the air test, since to me an animal is an animal.

I see a problem here, at least until confirmed final forensics unrelated to air testing is received. What do you think?

If Animals and humans decomposed the (Exact) same way wouldnt you think the Body Farm would use Animal cadavers instead of human cadavers in their studies. Also, Well trained Cadaver dogs dont hit on Animal Cadavers. Im sure the body farm is basing their tests on more than just Cadaverin and Putrecine.

The Body Farm trains the FBI forensic experts. LOL

But is that the lab the FBI uses when they send forensic samples for dna testing?

IMO, they'd probably not want to limit themselves to ONE lab & especially a lab who will probably be called by the prosecution in a ground breaking case as these air tests.

lol. I'm thinking maybe killer bees are next.

Night, all. Thanks for being so kind on my first time posting. I've never done this before but this case is making me nuts and I had to sign up. :)

Good night. Glad you are here!

Sorry, no. I don't believe any DNA tests are back, that have been released officially. There was info from a "source close to the investigation" that claimed some DNA was back, but nothing from LE.

The FBI TEST the DNA.....

LE confirmed last night that decomp was in the trunk. No ifs ands or buts.

Wonder what they are waiting on to bring homicide charges?

In Patty's words, "Link please!"

There is not a link........my friend lives close to there and saw it today, but someone here said it was about a stolen jet ski so I guess it wasn't about Caylee. My friend seeing the CSI vans there thought it might be.

As long as they file BEFORE the deadline, that's the only important thing.

Let LE take their time & make a winnable case so Caylee has justice.

Is there not room for error on the part of the dog handler?

If they used animals and not humans as cadavers, I don't think they would have credibility with their results being used in homicide cases.

Time for bed. I'm spelling words wrong left and right. Even the simple ones. Good night all.
