Cindy breaks silence today:

Cindy Anthony accused state attorney Lawson Lamar of seeking an indictment for political gain.

What a F-ing JOKE! :furious::furious::furious:

I'm sure it has NOTHING to do with the fact that the state has mountains of evidence against her sainted mother of the year daughter.

MN needs to tell his clients to keep thier mouths shut. Look at how well Casey is keeping quiet, that's one thing they could look up to her about, Lord knows there isn't anything else worth looking to Casey for. :furious:

Those wins on Friday were easy wins, frankly, I'm surprised the Prosecutor made him fight for those things. I think it would be smarter if they appeared to be as fair as possible. I want her to get a fair trial, just like we are all entitled to.

Prosecutors are not in the business of rolling over for the sake of appearances, especially with an election coming up. As a voter in this district, I would have been quite agitated to find out the he "gave" JB anything. Make JB ask for it, that's his job.

LOL, well it IS kind of true. We in Orange County would totally boot the prosecutor out of office if he didn't seek an indictment when the circumstantial evidence is so strong. Orange county voters frown upon mothers who kill their children and toss their bodies in the trash.

What a silly accusation!

Must be rough Cindy, someone always victimizing your daughter.

I'm not surprised. She has already badmouthed all of LE, she might as well
try to blacken every State Official as well.
Yes, everybody's wrong except the suspect.

I doubt she can possibly make me hate her more, but she sure tries really hard.

I completely agree, and am sure that this is not the last we will hear from CA. She is a piece of work, either she lacks any self-awareness or she is purposefully trying to tarnish everyone involved in proceeding with answers and justice for Caylee.

Eyewitness News has learned the grand jury will hear from half a dozen witnesses Tuesday, investigators from the Orange County Sheriff's Office and the FBI, FBI lab specialists and Casey's father. The grand jury will hear how investigators found high levels of the potentially toxic chemical chloroform in the trunk where they say Caylee's body had been.

I honestly think the prosecution didn't put up much of a fight, more filibustering IMO.

I have said from the start that I want Casey to have a fair trial and I pray JB is up to this job, it's a tough case for any attorney let alone someone green. I pray that there is NOTHING in this trial, when it comes, that keeps a jury of her peers from convicting her to the fullest extent of the law based on the overwhelming evidence in the case. :)

Actually I thought after reading the Orlando Sentinel blog updates during the hearing Friday, as well as other sites containing such blow by blow info on the argument, the State conceded a great deal in those motions. In fact, one of them for the release of the child protective services investigation and records, Baez either didn't do his homework or forgot to cite precedence - he's gotta go back and refile if he wants that motion considered. Further, he got himself stuck on the ZFG motion because now I take it he's got to investigate who the real one is - Strickland told him that the State had met its obligation there.

I found it funny after reading them how Jose was all up in his own press conference 5:30pm Friday - apparently the media can't read or pay attention during those hearings or they'd have tackled him with some really tough questions.

The motions the State really had issues with are the ones that will be determined this week -and may not be relevant if the GJ indicts.

Defence lawyers play a very important role in the judicial process and I think it is imperative that all persons, no matter how heinous their actions, receive adequate and competent representation. JB may be trying his best to give that to her, but IMO, he's not very good at it. Those wins on Friday were easy wins, frankly, I'm surprised the Prosecutor made him fight for those things. I think it would be smarter if they appeared to be as fair as possible. I want her to get a fair trial, just like we are all entitled to.

You're right and God forbid I'm ever in trouble, cause I wouldn't care what anyone thought I would want the best atty available.

I don't think the prosecutor gave him that hard of a time, he too was doing his job and at times was right that what JB was asking for had nothing to do with the crimes she's been charged with. I believe if Judge S didn't know they were proceeding to the GJ, he wouldn't have said yes to all the things he did.

I think JB was using most of his requests as a smoke screen for what he really wanted, the travel in secret and the travel away from the office. Most of the rest of it was a sham, unless JB is really that dumb...

My biggest problem with JB is that he continues to use the mysterious third party as his defense. It will be easily debunked and not hard to prove that it was CA herself calling in misleading tips!! This is a defense that has nothing to back it up and he should have thought that through. His client is a pathological liar. How is she going to provide any proof of a mysterious third party? He is going to be up a creek with that mode of defense

Don't forget, we 'don't know her like GB knows her!!':crazy:

Is this gonna' be a closed courtroom? Will we be able to see what's going on?
