I thought this was an interesting interview. I can't help but wonder if Baez is acting in a way in hopes of getting thrown off this case, despite what he says to the public. Its obvious that he doesn't have the experience to deal with a case of this magnitude. I wonder if he just don't have what it takes to admit it..

Isn't that what she has LKB with him for..because he doesn't have the experience? Good Lord, if every person on trial got an appeal because someone didn't think their attorney had enough experience we would have appeals coming out of the woodwork. These defense attorneys are all new at some point.

How can this be prevented? Casey isn't going to get rid of Baez. She thinks he is her current stud muffin the way she acts around him. Who else has the authority to bounce him off the case if not Casey? Don't a lot of people who are found guilty blame their attorney? Who determines if that person is right or not. I remember Cindy Summers attorney admitted that he didn't do the job he should have but most attorneys aren't going to admitted that they weren't good. If Baez is doing this on purpose then that is really unethical.
Why would anyone want to go through two trials?

I missed it, but you guys did a pretty good job of discussing what was said here. Thanks!

I think Wendy should have done her homework a bit more to realize the way the units work at OCSO and that they are intertwined. She must have been confused by that. Altho...only going by what you said here as I have not listened to it yet.

I am glad I am not the only one who sees George's attempt as a possible ploy. Whew!

I like Wendy and David. David and I seem to agree on many things, but I did notice a few times during this case...we were not on the same page at all. I felt like after he met the A fam and spent time in Orlando with TES, he become less objective and leaned heavily towards absolving the A fam of anything they may have done. He talked about them glowingly and this has bothered me a lot since I see a complete other side to these people.

I admit I was stunned at what I perceived to be David's naivete -- he swallowed CA's stuff hook line and sinker -- I was a huge Lohr fan before he went in that direction. I can't read him with the same eyes anymore. Not because he disagreed with me but because he seemed like he was so easily buffaloed. But that's just me.

ITA! The KC Kool Aid must be strong in that house. Guess being the family CEO makes for powerful kool aid.

SS and jennyb, I feel the same way. This family seems to run roughshod over anything and anyone in their path and then cry about how badly the world treats them. I don't get it. Caylee deserves better. She DESERVED better.

IMO Wendy is wrong with some of her ideas but she clearly wants justice for Caylee.

Dang it!! I am soooo angry I missed a program that actually had some good info, to tune into another GR dud!

The "exclusive interview" with cindy was a re-air from July!!!!! AND, to add insult to injury, they only played 90 seconds of it!!! Grrrrrrrr, when will I ever learn? sigh....

The show is available for streaming or download as an mp3 right now at the site.

Just downloaded it and it's about 16MB so it's not too bad. I didn't bother with GR tonight cause I didn't know if my TV would tolerate another shoe being thrown at it. :furious:

It's different when you meet people in person and spend time with them. You get to kind of know them, etc. When we only know what the media wants us to know and see it's easy to see more negative then positive. Seems like the media have chosen to show everything neg about the Anthonys. Maybe in real life George and Cindy are nice people who are well liked. Kind of unfair to harshly judge them under these circumstances and the horror in their lives.

Wow, the media didn't tell me how to feel about these people, if anything they were treated with kid gloves. My opinion is based on watching hours of their interviews, basically choreographed by the A's themselves. I don't think I've ever seen a family with more air time. So I made my own assessment.

"Hair, guts, body parts, decomposition............." :)

I don't believe she's correct about "others being involved in the death" is true. Why would KC be protecting anyone but herself? No, I doubt that.

We've already questioned why she lied about the non-existent job and the equally non-existent job. What is she talking about?

Sex crime investigator???? In August?

Okay, this woman is a bit wild!
Hi I also disagreed about this being an accident. I think it was premeditated. I think George, Cindy and Lee possibly helped cover up, maybe unknowingly, but I think the computer searches for neck breaking, cloroform recipes, missing children, death penalty, etc do not bode well for Casey, especially with an accidental death theory.

But I think I might need to research Wendy's claims, she is a former sex crimes prosecutor, and she can make a convincing argument.

I always put DL's 'patience' with the A's down to his association with Tim.

TM has always been pretty gracious no matter what, throughout this whole thing, often asking for sympathy and prayers for the A's. I figured that DL was trying to emulate a style more in keeping with Tim's example, than drinking the A Kool-aid.

I also really like Wendy's passion for justice for Caylee.

I agree. The media didn't influence my thoughts on the A fam here. The A fam did. It wasn't only the endless rants on television, the articles written from their quotes, or the way the media portrayed them at all. It was what they said and the way they said it...in the taped interviews with LE, in transcripts, reports, and as far as Cindy goes...from the first bond hearing while she was on the stand. This was the first time it was very obvious to me that she was trying to manipulate LE with lies and deceit. I could see right through her from then on. (See the video of Yuri's testimony about Cindy and the date plus the comments she made under oath that day.)

You are probably right since he was with Tim. However, I would think that as a professional it would have served him well to investigate it from both angles instead of defending them, imo.

There was certainly no defense of GA tonight, so perhaps the pendulum swung back a bit the other way.

In the hope a second jury will not know as much about the case, and actually have doubts KC is a cold-blooded murderer. That's why.

My feelings exactly. My thoughts on the As would have remained sympathetic if the As had remained sympathetic. Instead, they were willing to execute anyone but Casey. Plus, they put KC before Caylee. I couldn't tolerate that.

Wendy said she believes KC didn't kill Caylee, but had allowed her to be drugged for sex and other child pornographic pursuits. The baby died in the process, and the "pornographers" then gave her body to KC to dispose of.

So if that were true, why is KC allowing the killers to go free? Why is she sitting in jail for them?

If this is all true, KC is still guilty of killing her child. Florida law says so.
