Casey defense team files motion to dismiss case--Could KC walk!

Jeez, Baez has asked for a change of venue what, 2 - 3 or 4 times now? And each time has been told that it's too far out in front of the trial, to wait until it's closer to actual trial date.

Is he PURPOSELY trying to PO Strickland???!!! it's a YEAR away at least! :waitasec:

I can't wait to read the motions for myself! However this little snippet indicates to me that the FBI, FDLE, and OCSO's excavation of the crime scene which is a job they are trained for is called TAMPERING??? Judge Strickland made it clear at that particular hearing that it was LE's responsability to process the evidence.

In the Phil Spector case, the defense experts (Dr. Henry Lee among them) had to wait for LE to finish processing the scene before they could look around. That occasion caused Lee a great deal of trouble of his own!

My gut feeling is that JB is doing all of this as a smokescreen, the defense can't produce anything to back up attorney TM's claims in court. I think they are trying to get all or most of the evidence from Suburban Dr. tossed out and this is his roundabout way of doing that. The defense can not refute the evidence that Caylee was on Suburban back in June. IMO

So basically JB wants to make sure that all of the A's truthful statements all coincide with his reasonable defense theories. nothing wrong with that.

Where was that evidence that proved Casey's innocence again? Oh that's right JB has it. Hey that's good enough for me.

Now the way I see it requesting "secret" meetings and asking for destruction of evidence seems like the makings of an innocent person to me. Why did I ever doubt Casey's innocence? I mean its just so clear and obvious now. Clearly a dismissal is the reasonable thing to do here in the death of this little girl given all the evidence that has been released thus far.

Could the timing of this defense motion have anything to do with the fact that the 15 day deadline to produce the evidence 'that proves Casey's innocence' is fast approaching and no sign of the BOMBSHELL evidence as yet.

Wanna bet that when we get to read them, it will be clear JB didn't write them? It will be easy to tell. If there are appropriate legal citations, he didn't write them!

Yes, I thought Andrea Lyon said she would be filing a bunch of motions soon after Labor Day. Here they are.

Also, IIRC, the defense filed an emergency motion in December trying to gain access to the crime scene and the Judge shot them down. Jose and Linda went on Geraldo and whipped him into a indignant frenzy over the injustice.

Lee, the brother? What trouble did it cause him? I don't recall/understand.

Not too long ago, Brad Conway came out to the media and said that BAEZ was preventing G & C from visiting KC, and that Baez was taking letters to KC from her parents ..... now Baez is saying that KC NEEDS family visits???!!!! Something is brewing .......
Judge S. has already addressed this issue also .... I think Judge S is going to get very unhappy with these repetitive motions and waste of his time.
Looks to me like the defense is DESPERATE for KC to talk with her parents and brother (UNrecorded) and get their stories in sync.

That is possible, except that JB can meet privately with the A's and get those stories together without even involving KC. He knows all the BS she wants to present as the 'truth,' so he can spread the lies wherever he wants, without KC's presence.

I just don't get it...

What a damn circus. All of a sudden, KC needs Mommy and Daddy? What good will they do to help the defense prepare their case. Like others said, they can get their stories straight. Need GA testimony to figure out how to cover and backtrack. I wonder if KC is metally shutting down at this point.(and they think the parents can help) :banghead:

I would LOVE to read George's GJ testimony also ... and I would love for GEORGE to know that it is public (through Sunshine laws), and would love for Baez to give KC a copy of what daddy said about her, to the GJ.
