If it was about Caylee being killed- could it have been that Caylee got hurt badly during the alleged CA & KC fight. KC, took her and ran out and the child was screaming or crying in pain and KC silenced her with the tape and the child died, or KC finished her off.
I do believe CA lied when she claimed she tucked KC & Caylee in bed on the night of the fight- CA denies there was a fight- Is this the big secret-

Bolded has been another thought on my lil shelf.

If you listen carefully to that conversation, CA says, "We forgive you for whatever you've said...or done." Those last two words are lost in the noise of KC complaining to the guard that the phone was too loud.

I have always felt Cindy was saying they forgive KC for all the lies she told police. And also for whatever KC may have done (to Caylee), because I think that without saying it, CA and GA knew KC had done something terrible. I believe CA and GA were hoping KC would confess something to them in those early jailhouse videos.

As for what KC was talking about when she said the words in the subject of this thread, well, I think it's obvious her meaning was, "Don't worry, I haven't told them the truth." I wonder if KC knew at that point that her parents had been told about all the lies she told police about her job at Universal, etc.

Interesting....I thought she added the "or done" as an after thought (as there is a good pause before she says it), knowing what she had said might look odd to authorities so she threw that in to throw them off. Also, I think Casey's answer is direct, and clearly understood by the As.

Why do you think her parents would need to forgive her for telling the truth about what happened to Caylee, as opposed to lying about it???

RevCrim imo that would certainly tie in the " You Don't Know What My Involvement..." comment from KC to CA...just a thought... CA sure does deny that fight, hard. Don't know about Caylee getting hurt badly in the fight, imho KC killed her out of spite generated from "the" fight, because she is a " spiteful bi@%h".I think KC planned and fantisized about killing Caylee... that was just the last straw moment.

This could be the reason for the hate KC seemed to held for Caylee. She was more like a sister. HMMMMMM

And it would also explain why Cindy said, at the memorial, I have 3 children.

Hmmmmmmm???

I think you may have misunderstood me. I think they were telling her they forgive her for all the lying. After all, hadn't they just been told by police that everything KC had told them for the past two years--the job at Universal, the nanny, etc.--was a fabrication? I think they were forgiving her for being a liar. They were really hoping to placate her and show her love and forgiveness during that jailhouse visit in hopes that she would either tell them the truth about Caylee's whereabouts, or say something that firmly convinced them she had nothing to do with her disappearance. They were walking on eggshells.

With this family I think there are so many awful possibilities! I do think she died in the house that night.

Thankfully I've never been in this situation, but can anyone tell us how a toddler might react to watching her grandma choking her mother with grandpa there?

I am guessing, but think it may have caused Caylee great distress, and perhaps set Casey off to behave aggressively towards Caylee in return? Could she have possibly tried to interfere and stop gm and got injured in the process?

he did? ew. how did i miss this? do you remember what he said?

It is in one of the first jail visit videos...I don't remember the exact words, but he tells Casey, in a very happy way, that him and Lee are going to get paying jobs from KFN out of this.

I completely agree with the bolded bit. Not sure about the 2nd bit, but definite possibility.

I see what you are saying now. But I think her answer and their response to her answer was inconsistent with that. I don't know why she'd say "don't worry, I haven't said anything" if that's what it was about. But you might be right.

I don't think the police telling them she didn't have the job etc came as much a surprise to them, if at all. And I don't think they'd "forgive" her for lying, when it appears lying is something that was encouraged in that family.

She made this comment right after Cindy told her they forgive her for anything she has said. I think her response was just a simple reaction to her mother basically telling her it's okay that you spoke badly about your father and I - it's okay that you are angry at us and lashed out - CA may have thought Casey was talking bad about her parents and annoyed at her mother's dramactic tone she replied - "Don't worry I didn't say anything" - meaning I didn't tell anyone you are an awful mother and a liar too.

MOO

I think KC's "don't worry..." statement may have been a slip of the tongue, simple as that.

I agree with you on your second point. But I do think CA and GA were playing the loving, supportive, forgiving parents during those jailhouse visits in hopes of KC giving them useful information. You can see in CA's face that she knows something awful has happened to Caylee. Watching those tapes I can feel her frustration of not being able to force the truth out of her daughter. You can see the fear in her eyes that she's sitting across from a monster. At one point she even gets up and walks away because she is about to lose it. I think they would have said anything just to know what happened.

This is where I was going with it- She could have been shoved or kicked and hit her head on something.
If the child witnessed this as I believe she surely did- yes- she would have been crying and possibly screaming in panic- a child only knows something is not right- even if she doesn't understand what is happening. If she hears Mom and Gmom screaming at each other this disturbs a child greatly, then to add physical attacks on one another- the child can suffer many types of damages in her little mind alone-

I, too, have wondered what was such a big secret in this house. I do think it started before Caylee went missing. They seemed to have their lives in compartments. KC's friends did not come to the house and I have never heard that Lee's did either. They didn't seem to have a lot of 'stand by me' people when this went down. No relatives, no long term friends appeared to show support or offer help. Those offers were from strangers and most were rudely rejected. They seem to have lived an isolated home life.

Then all three of those statements since Caylee went missing raise eyebrows.

So what was the secret? Since LA is proven not to be Caylee's father, that isn't the secret, Why the defensive posture all the time.

Yes that comment is bothersome to me as well- It was like KC was saying- You know very well what my involvement is- so don't try to put all the blame on me. (At least this is what I got from it.)

Maybe the secret was that they covered up for KC.
Don't worry I haven't said anything.

I've watched this video a lot. She tells George something and she gets up. It doesn't look like she leaves in any sort of distress. She wanders away and wanders back.

Yes, at least Cindy behaved somewhat appropriately attempting to get info re Caylee etc, though I am not sure that wasn't all an act.

George on the other hand, never asked one question about Caylee, and seemed far more interested in the job opportunities this was opening up for him & Lee. And, I wasn't surprised when Casey said she prefers talking to George because he doesn't ask questions.

That is sooo horrific to think about. Could Casey possibly be covering for one or both of her parents?
