Looking at his Twitter page, Jake Schalmo has been tweeting to Vinnie Politan, Nancy Grace, Wesh Orlando, Jane Valez Mitchell, and Joy Behar trying to make his offer known (In other words all of the people he knows will announce it on TV) Something fishy going on here..

The DT had BIG dreams of a payday!! They were going to recoup their monetary losses with a HUGE payout by media mogul who would take the bait and run with it! However, it looks like their plan is backfiring and those that they wanted to hook with a bombshell

interview are wiser than they thought. Heck, Hugh Hefner doesn't, want her, Jerry Springer doesn't want her-even the co. Vivid took back their offer! What's left? Maybe, their cash:cow:might have to work the county fairground circuit!:fence:

"Thank you for letting us know of your concerns. It is not PEOPLE’s policy to pay for interviews. PEOPLE has never paid Casey Anthony, or any member of the Anthony family, or their representatives, for interviews or photos, nor do we have any plans to do so."

I personally don't need proof of anything. I'm vaguely fascinated by what I think is a fictional bidding war launched by JB, CM and GR via the gullible media. I think there's a possibility there are no offers and they're carping their pants trying to stir up a single genuine offer.

I think this is exactly what is happening, but you left out KC, her hand is in the plan too. Reminiscent of Sonny & Cher calling all the radio stations repeatedly to play their first single. It made them famous. Yep, that really happened.

KC has only been out a few days, there will be something arranged by this weekend or next. Of course it will be another part of the above theory.

I think GR is obsessed with FCA! It I was his wife I would be a little concerned given GR relationship history. Mrs Rivera....wake up!

I think Geraldo, from the beginning, has been trying to help an 'upstart' hispanic lawyer however he can. Please note I do not think there is anything wrong with this type of helping hand, it happens all the time.

Remember that ridiculous news conference JB gave early on about being one of the first high-profile case hispanic lawyer, the press conference no one covered? I think that is the kind of advice GR was giving him.

I also think that, at least early on, GR was trying to get Baez to stop vouching for FCA personally, as GR would bash her around a little and try to get Baez to take the 'everyone deserves a fair trial' angle. Baez would have been wise to follow his advice, imo.

In any case, I do not remember GR being any kind of FCA fan. He was more into the proven vs not proven' thing instead of the 'guilty vs not guilty' thing.

But I do think GR wants the interview, and I think he is the closest they will come to a dignified (lol) agreement.

The owner of TMZ (who is a lawyer told Jane Velez Mitcheel) this is never true that they do get paid, but it is just not overt and one has to go looking through the "entertainment department" of these companies and one would find these people are paid but it is hidden and done in such a way that it is not quite a lie but is. He said these companies and networks always pay these people for interviews, always, they just keep it quiet so that they get the interview and pay them in a round about way. They don't list it as paid for an interview but something else.

I respectfully disagree; one of the big channels is going to have an interview and people will watch and they will say this is her right, we live in America and she was found not guilty. In a few weeks I bet we will hear that Geraldo or someone will be interviewing her for the money, but I am going to say it will happen sooner rather than later.

Geraldo at the beginning had many a show where he said KC was out "slutting around" and Cindy was in profound denial.

But it is worth more to him to take the other side and it is to his benefit to get Baez to want to work with him. He has a big name and he is defending KC, so why not Geraldo. But he did in the beginning call her a liar and a and her mother was in profound denial.

I think Al Taylor had a good idea when he said he was going to make her take a lie detector test concerning what happened to Caylee. THAT is something I actually might watch. If they could assure us it was an experienced LE expert in giving and assessing polygraphs then I would like to see her take on live on camera.

But if it was a stupid softball interview with the likes of geraldo I would sooner
pour bleach on my eyeballs than watch it.

I had a relative that appeared in People Magazine this year for their big weight loss issue. I know that it's true - she didn't get paid anything. IIRC though, she did get to keep some of the clothes (and possibly jewelry) from the shoot. But nothing was expensive.

However, this was just a regular person. I couldn't tell you if celebrities or infamous people are treated the same (or if there is some legal dance that isn't technically paying).

Lions and tigers oh my... at the fictional bidding war. From the local paper to national news, they don't hire fact checkers? A quick internet search gave me all I needed to know on this latest "offer." Sheesh... Everything connected to this case now is down the rabbit hole, through the looking glass, in KCWorld whathaveyou. I took a look at Ebay and I saw a manilla envelope billed to be in FCA's writing that was sent from the A residence on September 29, 2008. (Which happens to be day FCA was arrested again, but I doubt she was addressing envelopes for tees and bracelets at any time). It could be anyone's writing. Yet, another was for copies of documents readily available online. I don't know why I am surprised...it's natural that a fraud would beget a fraud, or many little frauds.
