Casey Not Guilty?

I agree. She knows she would have had a chance if it was an accident - drowning, etc. She could have gotten off scot-free. She had to lie and make up the nonsense stories because if LE found the body, they'd find proof she was murdered. She was morbidly lucky that Caylee was found in the condition she was. This is why she needs the DP imo.

I think you are right here-She would have had to have lead them to the body, and she knew she was in uh-oh-ville if she did that....she even had JG towing her line, unbeknownst to her, he was thinking there could have been an accident and she flipped out afterwards....but her own behavior up to the very day has sunk the accident ship, in addition to what you have stated.

Awhile ago I tried to post something on a topic via my Blackberry, and it didn't post for some reason!
So, the topic is if Casey found not guilty; I feel sickened at the thought. Lately i've taken a break from this whole case because it seriously stresses me out!

BUT! Someone said Baez & Co. are going to try finding a technicality to get Casey off. I will tell you why this scares the you know what outta me! I will post a link to what I'm referring to, but I hope it's ok to post this. It could be rumor, but if not this could be very bad!!!

That MurtWitnessOne guy apparently was let in the forensics garage to smell the car. Dear God PLEASE PLEASE do not let this be true! Can you imagine how bad it would be if the car evidence had to be thrown out????

Here's one link, I am trying to find the others I saw.

I think they would have to prove he actually had contact with the vehicle to throw it out. Besides, the smell by Cindy, George and the tow yard manager all occurred before the car was in police posession.

I agree with that, and also IMO if true don't you think Baez would've already been all over that?

The jury is going to go through so many different emotions when it comes time for the SA to explain to them exactly what Caylee went through after death. The worst thing a person can go through, after the actual murder, is to be left out in the elements for an extended amount of time, IMO.

I was just a lurker on this forum before December 11, 2008. I know a lot of people, myself included, thought that Caylee was in fact deceased and all we wanted was for this precious baby to be found so that she could have a proper burial.

Most people have extremely strong beliefs when it comes to the funeral of their loved ones. Everyone has different ways in which they mourn (or celebrate their loved ones lives), but it all comes back to having a respectful memorial. Some people believe that that respect is lost when a family can not have an open casket service if they so chose. Caylee was cremated, but had they wanted to have an open casket sevice... that had been taken away from them.

I really feel for the people who are going to have to sit in on this case as jurors. I can't imagine having to look at the pictures of what was left of that precious baby once they did find her because...

I have no doubt that JA will be very graphic in his description as to what little Caylee went through once she was thrown into those woods off of Suburban Drive. From the extreme Florida summer heat, to the Thunder Storms that can mirror that of Tropical Storms, to an actual Tropical Storm Faye. They'll know how dark and lonely that area was. How cold and damp it was. How scary it must have been during one of Florida's famous lightening storms. They'll know that animals fed off of her. They'll see exactly how far she was spread out by these animals.

The one thing that makes me sicker than sick is that if we are to believe, and everyone has different beliefs, that Caylee is in heaven looking down upon us, then she witnessed all that happened to her once she was no longer alive. It's beyond heartbreaking. I can't even describe how this makes me feel.

It's hard enough to imagine an adult go through something like this, but times that by a million when it comes to a two-year-old baby.

I can't wait until May 2011!!

No, I don't think it would matter unless it could be proven he threw something like great hunks of rotten meat in the trunk, or conversely, stood and poured a gallon of bleach in the trunk.

But if all he did was step into the garage to smell an odor coming from the car, well, the whole family, including Lee and Casey were there.

Unless someone gave him a key to the trunk - he wouldn't have been able to open the trunk and do any tampering, would he?

The towyard guy, Mr. Birch plus George and Cindy all smelled and commented on how much the trunk smelled long before Murt was around. Can't see what difference it would have made to Baez. What am I missing?
