No one is going to hurt ya, we are all entitled to our opinions! :twocents:

It would be nice if I could watch these videos and simply see a loving mother playing with her child as she always had etc. but something is so far off with Casey and my brain will not allow me to ignore the strange things that keep standing out to me, especially given the circumstances. If it is proven in a court of law that Casey murdered her daughter, these videos are very relevant to the case interest.

I have always been an observer as well as a good judge of character, so I find these sneak peeks into Caylee's life fascinating, especially where the adults she lived with are concerned.

I would be very interested to see a video of just Casey with her friends :truce:

I am right there with you on just how fascinating every aspect of this case is. I can officially say it's the only true crime case I've ever been completely obsessed with. Most likely because my daughter wasn't all too much older than Caylee when she was first reported missing, so obviously it hit close to home for me.

I think my reaction to a lot of the discussion on this thread is that people are coming from a very emotional point of view - it's hard not to look for whatever evidence of evil we can find in KC, because we want to understand and justify her actions. If she is Satan incarnate, okay, that makes more sense. I don't think any of us wants to believe that she could be any of us (I'm not saying she is, I'm just phillosophizing here!) It's much easier to put a label on it and put it on the shelf, much better on our conscience.

To me, KC is such a complex character and I don't know that her motives will ever be fully understood - but I don't think that what led her to where she is today is because she is pure evil. I think there are more grey areas in human existance than black and white - but admitting that would also mean we have to face the fact that each of us as humans have darker sides to us (obviously some more extreme than others).

At any rate, this is a discussion forum, we are not jury members, so obviously we are able to discuss this case to a point the jury won't have the luxury of doing. On a personal note, I'm trying my darndest to look at this from an objective standpoint, because if anything stands out to me that may be a clue or possible evidence, I don't want my emotions and how I feel about KC to color any ideas I contribute on the forums that may help solve it or at least get someone smarter than I am thinking about something they hadn't thought of before...
