Oh, and I hate hate hate hearing her say "on (blank) level", as in "if my gut feeling changes on any level I will obviously reach out to someone immediately"... Like she has SO many levels ....
<<The detective said: I've reached out...
That is the first time I hear the variation of the word: reach. Only after that does she use it:
I've been reaching out...
Is she using this form of the word reach to try and mirror the detective so that he is more favorable to her? >>
It's funny you mention this. I was watching the tapes on NG the other night and I noticed something similar. LA was asking a "coded" question regarding areas he could investigate and asked something like "would it be advantageous to look here?".. and she said something back like "that would be on the money". In her first interview with LE when they were telling her she was lying, one of the detectives said if everything she said wasn't a lie, then everything she told them would have been "on the money". He said it twice.
I dont know whose number it is, just listed on her (I guess sim card )as special K, but this is the second drug,(chloroform) that you get from vets, you know dogs.... I would just about bet my life if we had the phone number that goes with special k, that it would come back as kio. She had a kristina c.listed so I know its not her. I keep remembering all the le ineterviews, was she into drugs ?, everbody-no not at all. yeah right.... That little map was where kio said they went cocoamom. Interesting huh ?

When you quote my posts, can you include my name please? Thanks.
So we know that she picks up on words the investigators use, as in: "reach out" and "on the money."
Is she clever enough to use "like wording" or mirroring as employment coaches tell you to do in a job interview to gain rapore with the interviewer?
Or, is she picking up the wording from the interviewer and using it because she has a very small vocabulary?
I think she picks it up subconsciously. I think she has a certain "gift" of mimicry.

I agree with Concentric and Evergreen; I think KC instinctively mimics whoever she's talking to and it wouldn't surprise me if she also mirrors body language. I volunteer-tutor adjudicated teens and the ones who are master manipulators have this rapport-building/mimicking down to an art. They might not be able to multiply by 7's but they sure can charm you into doing it for them :cow:
Oh man, I had to run off to do some errands and I realized after I got back that I misspelled rapport. I changed it already in my post. Can you change it in the above copy of my quote Yardie? Thanks, a million.
Anyway, here is an interesting snippet about: rapport
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rapport
Such formal, overly polite responses: Why can't you just say yes or no?
I do not
He does not
I did not
It was not
Concentric, here's the deal...my post is like a hand. Potentially, your misspelling of 'rapport' is like the thumb, because Lee is the middle finger, ok? I'll legitimately do what you ask only if you absolutely utilize most, if not all, of my words in your request. And no misconshtruing of my mutual post, I'm even reaching out to you-- such a waste!
(You just got 'KC'd', hee hee)
(j/k Concentric *hug*)
