Casey to serve one year probation #2

Yep, and all those 7 adjudication withheld charges can add up real fast.
I guess the DT will find her job unless they want her to disclose her current source of income which could damage her indigent status.
They even might be wary to have her serve probation in another state, since there is no guarantee that her address will be kept secret. HHJP arm is not that long.
As best of all , she will have to be truthful in her tales to her probation officer. That would be a first for her.:great:

EXACTLY. My favorite thing about this whole mess is that the DT cannot just cash in quick and be done with her. NOW they have to try and keep her out of trouble because they have been the ones who have advocated for her, made her the innocent victim.

So she will be 'working' for one of them, filing, taking messages, getting in the way, bugging the heck out of them. I love it.

Guess what Holly??? I don't care! Somewhere, sometime - it will all come out. I've waited this long, I can wait longer for the details......:woohoo:

I bet though the DOC is not that happy. They had their authoritative wings clipped by this outcome and the Court rules. That Mrs Finnegan was almost a hostile witness for the prosecution during the HHJP hearing on the probation IMO.
Based on that, they could go out of their way to make this probation less intrusive/cumbersome..

Why? Why in the h3ll is this woman being coddled?:banghead:
This makes my blood boil! In fact, Casey Anthony is no different that you or I, other than the fact that she killed her child! She is not a freakin' celebrity!

I'm sure it was just a liability issue for them since she keeps broadcasting the 'fact' that there are people out there who don't like her too much and wouldnt mind having their own 15 minutes of fame by sending a little Karma her way. Who knows- someone who harmed her could end up on Dr Phil show being asked Why did you kick FCA's azz? For lots of money!
It won't be secret long!

Respectfully, she is very, very different from you and I. And being universally hated is not celebrity. And this protection of her is going to bore the hell out of her; her company is going to be a few bland, well-meaning, gullible good old sticks whom she despises. The TL's of the world will not be signing up to shuffle her off to work and appointments. She is going to have to spend her time pretending to be a sad, confused victim with a drowned daughter and it's going to be very annoying for her. Caylee may be gone but she will never be forgotten. KC will never be rid of the shadow of her crimes.

My understanding is that the best thing about this ruling is that she'll be in Florida so she can't skip out of the civil suit depositions. If she was living out of state she could have refused to attend. Also, if she has a job it will affect her indigent status. I think that's why the DT were so anxious to win this appeal. This is a bigger loss than it seems. PWNED.

FCA's reaction? ...

"I'm not in control of any of this," Casey Anthony said. "My entire life has been taken from me. Everything has been taken from me ..."

so she HAs to do probabtion. she still have to report to orlando by 8-25???? makes me mad how her lawyers are STILL trying to get her out of ANYthing where she is held accountable..
i seen jeff ruby may take out another ads ( perhaps 3) one of which called for boycott of caseys book, another call for state of FL to look at "abuse of a corpse" to get SOME justice for (caylee) ...go jeff go!!!!!

I don't think any of the DT wants to touch her with a 10 foot pole. If they give her some made up job in their office, protestors will come which will not be good for business. Besides that, she'll drive them crazy with her non stop talking every day, all day, for one loooonggg year.

If they have half a brain they'll cut her loose and say good luck. Call me next time you offend.

IMO

Well this is the best thing I have about her in a while.

Now lets see, you can kill your baby and be found not guilty, but you get a 1-year probation for check fraud.:waitasec:

ITA, there are many more things at play besides the actual probation. As you mentioned, the ZFG civil suit. FCA on the stand answering to Morgan. I would pay to watch that. Hopefully the state will be ready to hand her her bill, I believe it's ~$700k, add the IRS ~$68k.

You are right, this is a bigger loss than it seems.

IMO

FCA becomes .... a white elephant to the DT.

The burden of proof became the DT's burden ... more depos ... more motions ... more lawsuits ... more costs ... deep pockets anyone? Does it ever end?

How do the DT extract themselves and dump FCA onto someone else? A public defender? Time to cut your losses JB ...

Did this new appeals order say Casey must stay in Orlando?

No, she has to report to the Probation Office in Orlando by noon on the 26th--or elsewhere if other arrangements are made. How or where she serves her probation is in the hands of Florida DOC. They can ship her out somewhere, if another state is willing to take her. Or they can agree to meet with her this one time and then say she never has to appear in person again. It's entirely up to them.

Initially yes, in Orange County until a request is made to the probation office for a change that must also be accepted by the other new probation venue..

JVM reporting anonymous jurror stated if he were to be on jury now he would have at least went with manslaughter. What, why now?

Buyers remorse? They bought what JB sold them without question and ... now they understand ... now it all makes sense. Too little, too late!

I agree they SHOULD cut her loose, but they haven't so far. Baez admitted that she has been 'staying with' his good friends. And he said " WE brought her back to Orlando" indicating he is still 'in charge.'

Also, she could 'work' for them in a back office or after hours. My dad was a defense Attorney and I worked for him when I was in college. I would go in the evenings and do office jobs the staff left for me from the busy daytime. Filing, and pulling new files and orders for the next day. It was a different world then because there was no e-mail or computer software though, so who knows what is left to do anymore?

Spent a great afternoon boating with friends and now this, oh happy day!:great:

:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

:floorlaugh::floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

Great news! Enjoy your next 12 months felonous one.

That's an option, but would any of the DT want Casey in their office at night? Unsupervised? Would she snoop into things? Could they trust her? They can spout all the rubbish they want publicly about what a wonderful person Casey is, but each and every one of them knows she cannot be trusted.
