Casey's Lies

For the first few months of Caylee's life the Grunds, then Lauren Coppel took care of Caylee. Lauren did it for free until she discovered that Casey was not going to work and lied about having a job. Then she had her parents taking care of the baby because of " her job," which we now of course know she never had. Even Cindy caught her in these lies when she saw her partying photos on Casey's facebook etc.

The Anthony's had to know she did not go " to work". Why would they continue to support this bogus nonsense??
Where was Casey going and what was she doing when she was NOT going to a job??

Huge lies here, and I do hope the State is looking into this as to laying a foundation for her life of lies.
This, to me, is one of the biggest mysteries of this mess. Why did she create the "false life" of event coordinator for Universal? :banghead:

I believe casey created that lie, so that she may work odd and or late hours and have her parents watch caylee with no hassle.

Once you start with a lie, it just keeps snowballing into more and more lies.
It seems her parents rarely called her out or held her feet to the flames with her lies..so she continued to do them without any fear of reprecussion.

I know i`ve changed my parenting style based on the anthony`s lack of holding casey accountable.

Just brainstorming here - which usually leads to nothing but,

Someone pointed out on the shovel thread, BB began the bamboo excuse for use of the shovel and, apparently, CA just stuck with that excuse. Maybe, all of a sudden, in order to stick-it to CA with Tracy in the room, KC told the truth for once in her life and actually used the shovel to pluck the ladder from the pool? :waitasec:

My point is, it is almost fruitless for us to examine any information that comes out of their mouths (both KC and CA) because everything they say is suspect of being a lie :croc: - we wouldn't know the truth if we heard it! :banghead:

One thing I've observed though, considering CA insists :angel: that she and KC :innocent: are at peace and friends, KC likes to snub CA :snooty: and is sarcastic to her, etc. :waitasec: Something is there or not there if you will. What could it be?

I have seen mentions of Lauren before and had often wondered what the circumstances were around her no longer watching Caylee. Is this true? Did she speak with LE (I haven't seen any actual discussions with her)? I just don't understand why, if she knew that and was friendly with the Grunds', why Jesse wouldn't have ratted KC out after Caylee went missing. Of course, that's assuming anyone would have actually talked to one another, and keeping anyone from doing that seems to be a big part of how KC kept all her lies alive.

I so agree with you!! The A's let KC get away with sooo much and held her to no accountability! That was all going to change soon. And the reason and the person who was going to change that was Caylee!! Her speech was improving and soon she would be going to pre-school or kindergarten. Soon questions from schoolteachers, other parents, classmates, school nurses, parent/teacher conferences, etc... would be heading KC's way!!
Remember Cindy saying this about Caylee on Greta's show-

Caylee was becoming quite a liability to KC and her life of lies! KC couldn't trust or expect Caylee to back up all the detailed lies she had sown-KC couldn't do it herself when she was finally held to the wall by LE!
IMO Caylee went from being an adorable little asset in KC's life (in that Cindy did everything for Caylee - which gave KC plenty of time party, text, and surf the web) to being a threat that would expose her and her lies!! And to me-that goes to motive!!:furious:

If you find Rick Plesea's ( Cindy's brother) transcript you will see that cindy & Casey showed up at a family wedding when she was 7 months pregnant. The family was all talking about her pregnancy, and CINDY denied to their face that Casey was pregnant. She doesn't even have any credibility with her own family. (Perhaps a good thing she gave up her nursing licence, given her lack of knowledge ):woohoo::banghead:

I don't care how difficult Casey was, I don't know anyone who would allow this to go on. In one of the jail interviews, they are talking about it, and Casey says to her father, in a very strident and confident way, something like, well of course I have taken things from Mom and we have already talked about that. It struck me like yeah, I steal from you, so what,everyone knows it, I always do that. Except of course they didnt say steal LOL.

Starting at 15:50 the 2nd part of LE interview w/KC, at Universal including, quote (either YM, Wells or Allen):

"You bring us out to Universal where you say you work in an office",
"We get here and we walk all the way down the hall to where you tell us, you don't really work here, ok, so far everything I've said is true, correct?".

Reminds me of what I reread today. Georges deposition is like reading some textbook on parent abuse.
How he stopped asking questions because it caused problems in the house between he and Cindy, was soooo sick. It was actually to the point that Cindy put George in the HOTSEAT for checking up on the Sports Authority job and when he caught her redhanded in her lie about working there, it was like it was HIS FAULT for finding out. Geesh.

Clearly these people were terrified of Casey and afraid she would take caylee "away". Whether they were subconsciously concerned for her safety we will never know.
I could tell by the questions being asked of George that I think this sort of stuff will be in evidence at trial.

Where are the check stubs, her W-2s for taxes, and her "horror/humor" stories from work?( she was an event planner, those were some uneventful events) Just as Casey is capable of lies, the family is guilty of accepting without question.

She lived with them, yet she was so "dependent" on them for gas, babysitting etc. Yet no questions on how to file taxes, bank info, FAFSA for school, so on and so forth. These are some questions my daughter asked me just in the last WEEK! And she doesn't live with me!

Why did no one question- where is your money? My daughter is unemployed right now. She is constantly asking for money for diapers and wipes. I am constantly asking where is your money? I am not gonna give out my hard earned money without a good reason. She doesn't ask unless it is a good reason.

I know she is on food stamps right now, I know when the baby's DR appt are, I get her mail for her and call her if it is something important, I know what debt she has-even her credit rating and this is just 1 of my kids. I don't even feel I am particularly nosy-nor do my kids.

The quote in bold is too funny. It is important to remember that Casey ADMITTED LYING TO POLICE. I remember they asked her, how is this helping and why are we here, to which she replied,"It is not helping!" and "Because I lied!". :furious:

I believe, along with others, that Caylee may have already been telling
CA some of what was happening, leading to CA's threats about getting custody of Caylee and, no doubt, fights with KC.

CA accepted KC's lies, but I believe she loved Caylee, and would not have knowingly allowed KC to abuse her.
