Casey's nightmares

IIRC The nightmares were after TonE returned from NY around July 5th. If she dumped Caylee's body on the 27th, that would have been about a week after the fact.

We don't know if she was having the nightmares the week Tony was gone, since she was staying at Amy's and probably sleeping alone.

Or, when Tony got back from NY, sleeping next to his warm body again reminded her of Caylee (since Caylee slept w/her) and haunted her in her dreams, it would be!!

So because TL says that KC was having nightmares...this is considered the truth? Did LE ask TL if he ever did drugs or how often and how much alcohol he consumed each week? No. I have a feeling that he was a normal 20 something that partied often. I know when I was that age...I didn't have the best recollection of events when I was drinking a lot of alcholol and staying up until 4am having intimate relations with my bf.

Having nightmares and waking up in cold sweats often occur when an inidvidual is in a state of anxiety and fear. In this case, I think she was afraid of getting caught.

Freud asserted that feelings of guilt, if repressed from consciousness, inevitably surface in unconscious symptoms, such as nightmares or madness. This fits in well with KC as she shows no signs of any guilt or remorse during consciousness. IMO Dolly it would not be mean to wish bad dreams on her, she did something horrible and if she refuses to deal with it while awake then she should have to while asleep. Who knows it may one day get to her so much she will end up having to talk to someone about it or at least maybe just drive her mad.

Freud was also addicted to cocaine. He was also convinced that little girls secretly wanted a penis and little boys wanted to have sex with their mothers. I know because I have a degree in Psychology.

Huh? Do you believe that he is lying to LE in his vivid accounts of Casey's nightmares, where she woke up in a cold sweat? For what purpose? Or is it that he may have been drinking/drugs on each of these occasions (because it was more than once or twice) and not recalled correctly? IMO, he seemed quite forthcoming in speaking with LE, at least in the interview that we were privy to. I believe there is more interviews from him that we won't know about until trial.

Casey have nightmares about Caylee?? Naw, it probably WAS about losing TonE, Casey thinking only of herself as usual... JMO

Your avatar is SO cute I had to say!

I agree. She was worried about losing Tony if he found out she had done her daughter in and she was working on what she was going to tell him to make him KNOWING full well that there was NO WAY he was going to understand when she had kept it secret this long. She knew her time was running out, and she was going to be found out, and she was worried how that was going to affect her relationship with him. I do not for one moment think she was the least bit concerned about Caylee. She was out dirty dancing in a nightclub just a few days after her daughter's DEATH. She was NOT worried about Caylee...she was worried about CASEY!:furious:

Freud was full of cow "dooky" in my own opinion...
I know this and I don't even have a degree in Psychology...:blowkiss:

Everyone has nightmares. I have about 3 or 4 every month...the ones I can remember.

No...I don't necessarily believe he was lying. Almost every time I have a nightmare though...I wake up in a cold sweat. I mean...if it is the kind where you are kind of trapped in it and can't get out - yeah it happens to me all the time.

I do wonder how much he does remember clearly though...when you party a lot and drink and do some drugs - sometimes you remember things differently. How many boyfriends of just a month will acutally wake up and talk to their GF's about their dreams? I don't know...maybe all my BF's at that age were less sensitive than TL.

I've had disturbing dreams about my relationships with men (when I was younger), but I never woke up sweating and panicked as I think TL reported Casey did. I think she lied. What a surprise.

I have the disturbing, sweating, panic stricken dreams about men when I'm awake

She must have ran out of Xanax!

Dolly. That's a good point although I know you were making a joke. Sometimes people have weird dreams when they do certain kinds of drugs or even when they drink. I have had nights when I drank WAY too much tequila and woke up sweating numerous times throughout the night (and I mean REALLY sweating...I think your body tried to rid itself of toxins when this happens)...and stuck in a dream.

I'm supposed to take clonazepam before bed and the reason I don't is just that..I have weird dreams, I'd rather have a restless night, which I do anyway on the meds. Sometimes I do make jokes, he-he, but they seem to have a ring of truth.

I used to drink Alka Seltzter Cold remedy when I had a cold ..and it is the WORST for me...worse than Tequila. ALWAYS makes me sweat and really - in and out of reality. Seriously.
