Castro DEAD

You betcha' Amraan. Remember when they shut off the highway from Key West at Key Largo, during the Mariel Boatlift? Many a Marielito arrived in the US at Key West aboard a Coast Guard cutter docked at Mallory docks.

I remember it from the news.. That was before I moved to Florida..
Hubby lived in Miami though.

Always very uplifting and encouraging to see someone's death celebrated.

Chavez hates the US and may move troops into Cuba to keep ex-patriates out.
Chavez doesn't hate the US or Americans, but he does hate American hegemony, and he holds a dim view of Bush and his policies. Who in his right mind doesn't?

Well, as a Canadian, you have no clue what the Cuban refugees suffered under Castro. Having lived there and been on the scene when it all happened, I can certainly understand their need to "celebrate".

Kind of like "Ding dong the wicked witch is dead", from the classic movie, The Wizard of Oz.

As for Chavez, he has no love for a democratic form of government, regardless of who is the president. Some of us are obviously in a bad frame of mind as you have pointed out so graciously.
