Cat survives month long trip in container

A cat has survived a month locked in a metal container that arrived in Tampa, Florida, from a factory in China.

The cat was found in a container of parrot cages which arrived by boat in Los Angeles in early april. It then was transferred to Tampa by rail.

The cat jumped out of the container when it arrived at Norman Goldberg's warehouse. He said several cardboard boxes carrying cages had been chewed up.
