.....and I am FINALLY caught up....despite buying a house today and trying to move... oh the things I will do for websleuths! LOL.

I have been reading post after post and keeping up with this story and here are some things I've been thinking. I've read so much, I hope I'm not confused.
1.Didn't it come up that a Zaneida Fernandez Gonzales DID view the apartment at Sawgrass. Isn't that extremely strange? And, when you fill out that card to view the apt, you have to provide your address and this could have been NY or NC. I don't know where that would lead but it's strange.
2. Although I find it far fetched, I too have wondered if this "Nanny" said she lived at these addresses, b/c Casey did say she dropped the child off in the stairwell. Maybe Casey didn't want to admit that she left this child with someone and had been so neglectful.
I don't necessarily believe this, but I so desperately want to believe the possibility that Caylee is alive!
And we don't know for sure the results of the decomp.

Another part of the jail house calls that get me besides the messages on myspace was this:
"But you are telling the whole truth and nothing but the truth?" Kristina asked.

"That I have no clue where my daughter is?" Casey Anthony said. "Yes, that is the truth. That is the absolute truth."

The statement in blue really bugs me. She didn't say,.. I didn't do anything to Caylee I have no idea where she is. Yes she was kidnapped. None of that,.. it was ,.. That i have no clue where my daughter is?

Isn't it scary that there seems to be truth in all the lies she tells? Just not the part of the truth that matters...

I think probably by the time the cops came she manipulated mom into not pressing charges for that.

You could be right but if she don't wanna take the loss on it she will have to report it/them as stolen (I once had to do it) & they might not be able to take a $45,000. hit if that even is the right amount. Dang, so much info yet it all disagrees with each other.

more likely she didn't think anyone would give two bits about Caylee, she doesn't. she's the one in jail and no one cares!!

and for some reason, i feel like i read somewhere that casey had been staying with tony for awhile. and she used his computer to update her myspace page? i may be wrong about this...

Or maybe the case isn't crazy at all. Maybe it's simply that Casey killed her daughter, hid her body, and has lied about everything to cover up her guilt just like all the other murderers do.

I agree. It's obvious to me that Casey has probably worked her parents for years with lies. People who are psycho and do these things spread so much destruction. They destroy their family, friends, acquaintances, and even strangers are upset. Unfortunately, the person who is most hurt is a little girl. There's most likely no family cover up conspiracies, drugs, illegal immigrant baby stealing Nannies, new violent boyfriends, etc. Just another sick psychopath young woman.

I haven't heard casey's dad was a police detective.... is there anything to back this up? Or a link in the links thread?

Interesting if what you posted is true (not saying it ain't I just haven't seen it 'til now & now want to know where it came from coz on the Trenton case it was also posted 'bout grpa but never was backed up I don't think) because if so how in the heck does he not figure a bunch of this out? I'd think a police detective could figure out about the credit cards, where his daughter, Granddaughter & car ect... have been coz he would have the knowledge of how researching this stuff works way better then us. TIA

Yes he testified at the bond hearing. He is a ex-LE from Ohio and now in some form of security job that he just started Monday July 14th.

Has anyone heard of an update from that meeting late this afternoon with LE, Baez and Casey? I have been trying to search for updates on all the Central Florida sites and come up with nothing.

These ups and downs are killing me.

When Casey said to look up her "license" in NY or NC, I assumed she meant driver's license (because the cops would have access to this). I notice several people seem to think she meant nanny license. Hmmm!

I took it as a daycare license? I guess it is drivers license?

I'm sorry of this has been answered before, there are so many posts I have not been able to read each and every one. gma states that Caylee was with her 6/15 at the nursing home and that was the actual last time that she saw Caylee. Has this been 100% confirmed through sign in logs or workers at the rest home?

Yes they is a sign in log somewhere in these threads.

What I don't understand about this case is why they don't have all the searchers out like they did in the Danielle Van Dam case. They didn't know if she was dead or alive either but they had search teams going out for days and days. Thats how they found her. San Diego county is a huge place yet they found her. Her dad was out every day. Way out to the desert and everywhere that Westerfield claimed to be. Anyway, why doesn't that search team come to Orlando? I think it was volunteers that found Danielle. BTW, whatever happened to Matlock or Rocky that used to have a daughter that was her friend? He used to post over here.

I agree where is the manual searches? Not a big gathering searching....strange.

About Mike Walker,.. I went to Casey's myspace and typed in Mike Walker in her friends search. Six guys came up. NOT ONE of them had Casey in their top friends or any comments in June or July. (didn't look at them all) But there is one from NY. Didn't she say something in one of her myspaces comments that her BF was in NY????

Yes there was comments about her BF returning from NY.

I think the grandmother is a sick woman too! I could almost hear her smile when she says to Casey "Which one, I have talked to like 4" or something like that when Casey said she saw her on TV in the call from jail. Like she got pleasure out of it.

The grandmother gets no respect because she has never asked for it, never expected it.. in fact Casey knows mommy will do all kinds of nice things (give her money, car, credit card etc.) to try to win her love if Casey is disrespectful, aloof, unreachable. The mom is so desperate to be loved by her daughter that she doesn't even realize she has taught her daughter nothing about what real love is. IMO

I wonder what it must be like to see yourself being talked about on the news from jail.

I moved to Florida this year...southern Gulf Coast. The part of Florida I live in, it would be easy to get to alligators. I was under the impression that Orlando didn't even really have too many alligators and Casey seems like she would be afraid of anything nature-y.

The Everglades doesn't have a lot of roads, but it is still very easy to access the swamps with the alligators...they even live in water along side the roads.

and fyi.....where I frequently vacation....Hilton Head SC, there are gators in the golf ponds running around like neighborhood dogs and cats (but deep down I know they would eat them like a pack of gummi bears if given a chance).. And during the day you can see them sunning on the banks of little golf ponds and neighborhood landscaping ponds like cement statues until they open their mouths in the sun! I would say there are plenty of places that gators could take care of a small body in Florida... not to be gross...but just to observe the facts on the road this case might take.....

Welcome fellow Newbie!! I agree with you that the Zenaida having visited the SAME apartment complex was a very odd coincidence. There are ways to explain it though. Assuming it was NOT merely a coincidence, it could be that Casey herself toured the apartments (or got one of her friends to do so) as a way to cover her tracks later on.

OMGGG I cannot believe I missed that! LOL! I actually looked at the myspace page for Jesus (who on Casey's myspace she has listed as one of her good friends) and saw the memorial for him. He died 5/21/07..........Cindy and George said that Caylee's dad died in a car accident "about a year ago". Could Jesus be Caylee's father?

Ortiz left Boardwalk Apartments driving a 1999 Honda Accord. His girlfriend Sarah Rogers, a Student Government Association senator and president of the Society of Women Engineers, was in the passenger seat.

That girlfriend's name might be one worth looking at also.
