I'm not exactly local but my Tampa media has been reporting on the case and I woke this morning to the same old talk about the 911 calls.

Ahhh well lucky you! I just have cnn and fox. I'm in Cary so of course the focus up here is Nancy Cooper. We've had alot of high profile cases here in NC recently, seems like Florida has too! What the heck is going on?

probably because she was contracted by Colorvision to work at Universal. I know this has been said so it is my guess? :waitasec:

:clap::clap::clap: Very good observation!!! IIRC (using my newly learned lingo hehe) she was fired in 2006 and so was one of the guys she named (was it Jeff?) who supposedly used Zenaida for his son. Have they found him yet?

Yeah and that one is now coming back into the media spotlight too with the recent developments. I am just so bothered by this case....I just cannot understand HOW she could hurt that baby! And if the baby isn't hurt, WHAT is the reasoning for this charade?? If she did kill her child, then why wait a month before reporting her missing? Did she not realize how insane this would sound? I want Casey's family to tell the media what these latest developments are. There are alot of people worried, alot of people who care, genuinely care deep down. This is NOT just some new story I'm following. If Caylee is found alive I will be jumping for joy, crying tears of joy for this family. If she is found not alive, I will be crying and mourning along with them, wondering WHY, HOW??????? So please Anthony family.....let us know what is going on - should we be looking for Zenaida? Give us something to help find her if that's the case! I'm just so frustrated with this case, sorry to vent you guys!

Not yet at least for me, would like to see it. At the jail visit this was said.

While helping with new leads, Lee said his sister is sticking to her original story, she is still saying yes, Caylee is alive. Caylee is okay.

Lee said Casey cleared up a couple of things that detectives thought were lies from the beginning, where Casey worked and the connection to a mystery babysitter named Zanaida. He said Casey worked at Universal Studios, but was a contract employee with Kodak, and later Colorvision, so no Universal records would show she worked there.

Casey told investigators she met Zanaida through two co-workers. She said one friend used Zanaida as a nanny for his son. Todays date????

I thought those leads were already checked and they were dead end, the one about fellow co-workers? Is this old news, confused.

The guy may come off as articulate, but he's too self inflated and talked mumbo jumbo and in circles. Conversations in THAT household must have been interesting.

There are more questions to answers that don't make sense everytime someone in this case speaks.:crazy: None of the answers explain why Casey walked into Universal with LE in tow, looking for her office. IMO, Universal would have a record of her being contracted.

There's a myspace page for him that says he's 23, and there is a Jeffrey Hopkins that graduated from Colonial in 2003, the year before Casey.

According to Cindy's testimony, Casey told her that Zenaida had been babysitting for Jeff's child, and started sitting for Caylee about 18 months ago.

Jeff's myspace page shows that he wants kids "someday", which doesn't sound to me as if he'd have need of a sitter.

Cindy also testified that she thought Caylee had gone to Jacksonville with Jeff Hopkins during the time she was missing. Now that we know Cindy was able to track Casey's movement to an extent because she was using Cindy's credit cards, I'm placing more weight on her knowledge that Casey may indeed have been in Jacksonville at some point (with or without Jeff).

Seems like a lot of posts in this thread are OT....and it makes reading the thread difficult. I know many are new here...so just a friendly reminder to keep the focus on the case and not personal matters. You can PM, use the other forums (we have plenty that fit anything OT), etc. I hope no one takes offense...but it makes following the case very hard with OT posts.

Agree 100%. Giving comfort we can probably rule out since she didn't even recognize the guy. Also it seems like ALOT of her myspace friends were high school friends/acquaintances yet Patrick isn't even on her myspace (that I was able to find). Sharing the limelight I think we can probably rule out too because he had no way of knowing the tape would be released at all. This is not "normal procedure" when someone is arrested. So how would he possibly have known that he would be in the limelight? Okay so either he's got a sick curiosity OR he's delivering a message/code of some sort. I think she genuinely did not recognize this guy, BUT as soon as he uttered Mike Walker, she said "yeah, ok" which again, seemed like a strange response IMO. Listen to the conversation, you'll see what I mean about how she says it. One other thing I noticed....the guy seems like he's in disguise! He is wearing a cap and what appeared to be sunglasses (could be wrong about that).

I am just now catching up here. You mentioned the cap this guy was wearing and I immediately thought that maybe he had Casey's boyfriend's favorite cap on, or maybe Mike Walker's cap.
He seemed to hold his head at such an angle before he finally took it off that it may have been to point her attention to it.
I had to work at the jail for a time first when I had gone into LE, and I can tell you that NO ONE can wear a cap/hat into the jail. Also, not just any Tom, Dick, and Harry can walk off the street to visit either.
Got to be a reason LE let this guy into visit!

I am just now catching up here. You mentioned the cap this guy was wearing and I immediately thought that maybe he had Casey's boyfriend's favorite cap on, or maybe Mike Walker's cap.

That's what I can't get past is that just anyone could go visit her. I'm sure they couldn't. Otherwise the National Enquirer would have made sure they were first on the list. That would mean it would have to come from either her attorney or LE. It would be sad to find out there was a breakdown in security.

OK, watched it again. Maybe the cap was supposed to mean something, but why disguising himself like that, only to "make a show" at taking it off? I know I'm grasping at straws here like all of us, but the more I watch this video, the stranger it is.

Thank you for posting this! Another thing about Jeff....if he's the one on myspace, then it says he's a college student as well as he lives in Stuart, FL which on the map looks quite a ways from Orlando. Honestly I think he was completely fabricated. Universal is a big place - it's possible the Jeff Hopkins that worked there doesn't even know her. I agree with you about the Jacksonville thing...seems Cindy would have been keeping track of the credit card usage.
