Lee doesnt live at home, he may be staying there during all this but he has his own place. I believe he is older.

Hi everyone. First time poster, but a long time lurker - very, very long time. I had issues registering, as well. I absolutely love this site and everything that you super sleuths have to add to these cases. I hate that these cases exist but they do. My husband thinks I'm crazy for getting so wound up over these things. I'm sure some of you have been there, too. Although, he is starting to come around some. He has even started asking me "so what are they saying about that on your site?"

Anyway, glad to be here.

I have a simple question, not sure if it's been asked or not. Is Lee older or younger than Casey? I guessing he's younger since he is still at home, as well.

Oh, okay. I guess I heard that jailhouse phone call where Casey demands to speak to Lee, when she is trying to get her bf's number. Then she says she knows he is there cause she saw someone's car at the house on the news. I guess they were just visiting.

I was doing a little research earlier about DNA testing and how it would take - came up with 5 - 10 days for a basic test with a good sample and up to 3 weeks to do a match or with a "not so good" sample. I know that hair folicle tests don't take but about a week as I have had friends who have had to have them as pre-employment tests.

So - LE could have the hair tests back but not the tests on the stain. If the hair tests come back to Caylee AND drugs - could THAT be enough to get her tried on the death penalty without a body? Guess that would depend on the amount of drugs.
Anyone else?

The forensic examination of the Pontiac was done two weeks ago tomorrow, and it was stated that the samples were going to be sent to the FBI lab in Quantico, VA. So we don't know when the samples arrived at the lab and they started testing. I'm going to assume, that by Monday, July 21st, the samples were at the lab and testing was under way. So, hopefully, we might have some sort of results back by sometime next week.

IIRC, doesn't Casey have to be charged by 21 days after arrest? The 21 days will be up on August 6th, so I think by then LE will have some results.

Assuming then that they drug tested the hair they found in the trunk. Wonder how long it takes to get those results??

Olive, my son had a test for employment and he gave a hair sample. The test was back in 3 days. He was negative for anything, but I would think that a test positive or negative would take the same time.

:blowkiss: Hi absolute! I know what media report you are referring to.. I think what screwed up that date as the 4th (the party in flag toga and saran wrap on the guy! ) was the personal messages that several posters uncovered between Casey and TonE's sister....putting him home on the 5th of July...and she alluded to the fact she was going to do something nerdy or dorky...for him...something to that effect when he got home (wish I had the link for you but I am not in the mood to thread dive right now LOL...lololol).. Anyhow, I think she had the party for him on the 5th.

Did she stay at his apt while he was in NY then? That would get us all they to Amy leaving right?

After all this tonight - I think tomorrow just might be the day. There has been a lot of info let go tonight - the DJ statement, the new phone call, the crap talk from the lawyer, Lee's demeanor on the phone.

Or maybe not - maybe they are still looking for (sadly) the body. Either way I feel something is close.

I hope so. I just told my husband tonight that I'm so afraid they aren't going to find her. It's been so long since she allegedly "went missing". I just couldn't stand the thought of her getting away with this.

Hey TGIR. IIRC it turned out to be nothing. Evidently LE was told about it and they cleared it.

Parents didn't talk about it. LE said they had already searched the yard and weren't concerned or something to that effect. And apparently it turned out not be concrete slabs, but some other type of cosmetic gardening stuff (I can't think of the name of what they are called- I'm not a big gardening person). Anyone else want to add?
