type in Cynthia Anthony it will bring up 4 cases, i think the drug one is the 3rd one or so.

I cannot find a birthdate for these drug charges. The prostitution charges yes, that is definately not her.

I have never heard that, and I do not think it is true.

You see, her information turned out to be information already discussed. I knew it wasn't anything good because there are certain posters on Websleuths that are so good, so detailed that if they didn't have this information I knew SWAG's wasn't going to be anything of consequence. I am amazed at some of the posters on here. They should have careers in some type of capacity of LE. This isn't meant to denigrate SWAG. But don't come on here promising something that you can't deliver. Everyone got all fired up and the let down was immense. I admire mostly everyone on here because of their sense of fairplay, honor and seeking the truth. That's what makes Websleuth head and shoulders above all other forums out there discussing criminal cases.

I have some experience in this area.

He doesn't need to be paid. The attention from this case is worth it's wait in gold, even if most people are left with a negative impression. Same thing with Brodsky in the Peterson case (who in my humble opinion is far worse and slimey).

His name will be a household name in Orlando. IF she is innocent, he is golden. IF she is guilty and tried and he gets her off on anything other than a full sentence he is golden.

Attorney's in the states swear an oath to NOT promote falshoods and not contribute to a lie in court. I recognize not everyone takes it seriously but most do. It is also important to recognize that part of the systems is that in order for it to work EVERYONE is entitled to representation - and most take that seriously. IF the guilty were not represented the system would fail. Perhaps no matter what he knows (guilty or innocent) he believes he is doing the right thing by his client and his oath.

Forgetting all that. . . it's a marketing gold mine and he would not need to make a cent of Cindy Anthony or Casey Anthony in order to make this worth his. . . and his firm's while.

Anthony family met for hours with FBI yesterday--think that local authorities aren't following up leads.

Forensics tests on the car will be back late next week.

Have we seen a change in Cindy's demeanor since the meeting with the FBI?

Well, I am going to have to respectfully disagree. I watched the video just a few minutes ago with the link Cindy sent me. He can afford to pay for TV ads and the like. I am sticking by my theory that "someone" hired that attorney for her. It wouldn't surprise me to be wrong though, and it won't be the first time.

TV Ads.... that's an investment for his business... it doesn't tell us how qualified or competent he is.

Lawyers advertising on TV are practically in the same category as the people hawking junk on infomercials.


My feeling is that officially Baez told them.... we'll discuss payment later.... our first priority is to take care of Casey.

Nope, it was to Amy and before Amy left? She did not confront Amy until 7/15 overall (except cash and she believed Casey) Can someone tell me which address in this case is located in Oviedo??

I believe Casey was already in jail before news of this story broke.

That's the son of sam law, which has recently been modified to a degree, and only applies to a person convicted of the crime in question

So does this mean Casey or her family couldn't benefit from this crime? I would think she couldn't but maybe her brother or parents could. Let me know, I'm interested in this. There should be a law that no one in the family can benefit from a crime a family member committed. In other words any proceeds would benefit the victim or a victim rights association.

Sorry LI- that is not legal. The terms of retention must be contracted up front. It has been my opinion and posted the day she hired him he is working for a flat percentage of the rights (all) associated with this case.
Additionally, the state may have to subsidize based on the budget and type of prosecution case that is presented, leveling the playing field..
