Do you think maybe she sold Caylee? Some Casey's statements make me wonder, IE- like "I feel like she is okay" or "I feel like she near home".

I don't feel like Casey had any bond with her baby girl and from her statements and her self centernedness it doesn't seem like she would think twice about doing that.

Maybe that's why she never called LE. Maybe LE thinks that she did sell Caylee and are looking for her and don't want to tip anyone off. I don't know I'm just hoping that little girl is still alive :(

Sounds like she thinks she is missing to me....I don't want to believe it but its just so contradicting. How should we really feel about this:

my caylee is missing
Current mood: http://x.myspace.com/images/blog/moods/iBrads… distraught

She came into my life unexspectedly, just as she has left me. This precious little angel from above gave me strength and unconditional love. Now she is gone and I don’t know why. All I am guilty of is loving her and providing her a safe home. Jealousy has taken her away. Jealousy from the one person that should be thankfull for all of the love and support given to her. A mother’s love is deep, however there are limits when one is betrayed by the one she loved and trusted the most. A daughter comes to her mother for support when she is pregnant, the mother says without hesitation it will be ok. And it was. But then the lies and betrayal began. First it seemed harmless, ah, love is blind. A mother will look for the good in her child and give them a chance to change. This mother gave chance after chance for her daughter to change, but instead more lies more betrayal. What does the mother get for giving her daughter all of these chances? A broken heart. The daughter who stole money, lots of money, leaves without warning and does not let her mother now speak to the baby that her mother raised, fed, clothed, sheltered, paid her medical bills, etc. Instead tells her friends that her mother is controlling her life and she needs her space. No money, no future. Where did she go? Who is now watching out for the little angel?

What is this all about really? She uses the word "missing"

IMO, I Think she only means Caylee isn't living with her anymore. Missing from her house & heart.

More interesting.... she asks "Who is now watching out for the little angel?"

That tells me she had no idea there was a "nanny" or why would she ask who would watch Caylee?

It's obvious, Cindy KNEW Caylee was spinning way out of control & was powerless to make her change. Cindy will live with this guilt for the rest of her life.... if only she prevented Casey from taking Caylee with her. Very, very sad. I feel for Cindy. (But still wish she'd open her eyes & do whatever it takes to get her lying daughter to start talking)

And with all due respect, that is your opinion of what is worse. Maybe for Cindy the worst case scenario is not only losing her granddaughter, but her daughter as well, as screwed up as she may be.

Look, I don't think I would behave as Cindy has were I in the same circumstances, and I hope to God I never find out for sure. On the other hand, assuming we have our facts straight and she has pretty much raised this little girl from day one, I also don't believe she is in her right mind.

My daughter was murdered. It was 6 months before I was able to think straight, and then it only came in spurts. Had I not had a responsibility to my other children, I wouldn't be here now. I don't care how upset, outraged, etc. we are all feeling over this case, we are on the sidelines looking in, at this time we can't even begin to touch the emotions these people may be going through. I wish Cindy wasn't acting the way she is, but I'm not going to hang her out to dry for it, either.
Lanie
Oh, Lanie...I am so so sorry for your loss. There is IMO nothing worse than losing a child. It's beyond the unimaginable. So you would say, having experienced this yourself that Casey is not grieving for the child she has lost?
Again, I am so sorry.

I believe, IIRC, Casey said she got a call from her daughter that day, but when she asked Caylee to put an adult on the phone it went dead. It seems Casey has given two different stories though. One she says that she tried to call the number back and it was disconnected. The other story is that it came up as a private call with no number.

Either way... if this had happened to a mother who actually gave a ****, the mother would fall to her knees in hysterics, scream and cry and be physically be unable to function.

And if the mother really believed that Caylee's life was in danger at the hands of someone else, she would react even more emotionally.

Certainly she would call the police.

Period.

Lies, lies and more lies.

The reason they don't have to interview Casey anymore for "information" is because nothing she says is the truth. Nothing.

If you aren't familiar with MySpace, you wouldn't know this... but the part that says "my caylee is missing" is actually where your name goes on your myspace profile... you can change it anytime to anything you like... I think it has been found that the name on that profile was changed to "my caylee is missing" after it was discovered that she was ACTUALLY missing. On the date the blog was originated, it would have shown whatever her normal name she used on her profile was, i.e., "Cindy" or whatever. I hope this helps.

Did Casey live w/her parents the entire time since Caylee was born?

If so, she may have just snapped at having to care for her child for the first time....

This is a thought I had, and it didn't take her long to realize that being a mother is a job. She had Cindy the whole time up until she left the house.

  • #367
I was wondering if Casey needed to contact him ASAP to have him dispose of the phone and/or clear records of calls and/or text messages?
I think Tony had no idea he what he was getting into with this girl. I think she would have tried to weave another web in her lie layer... she had different webs going for different people in her life. I think that is why grandma has no clue. the web pertaining to her, imhoo, was completely different:waitasec:

I got this in my email from someone trying to get on and post...does this mean anything?
Good question...very good question...one that should be forwarded to LE IMO.

Thought this was interesting - we all knew that George was ex-LE but I didn't know he was ex-HOMICIDE LE

Excerpt:

Speaking of the Anthonys, it definitely appears that for some reason, the family is running their own seperate investigation independent of the Orange County Sherriff's Department. We suppose having a former homicide detective in the family that might be expected, however the line between investigating on your own and hampering a law enforcement investigation gets slimmer and slimmer

Interesting no? Didn't know ole Georgie is ex-homicide

SWAG, we discussed that at length early on. Your reference is actually a blog, not "true media" meaning it is an op ed piece. With no referernces or fact checks, just opinion if you will..

I for one, have NEVER been able to corroberate that G is a former homicide detective and it conflicts with what is in the affidavit.

I have thought about this from the beginning of all this, something tells me this is what happened. But then as time went by I thought that if that was the case with all this media buzz, whoever she sold her to would have surfaced by this time.

Even though we knew that already from one of our own posters who did the "pizza experiment", I'm glad the media did their own experiment and are reporting it. It pokes a big hole in Cindy's contention that the odor was only rotten pizza.

Cindy will just come back and say that the pizza in the experiments weren't in a bag!!

Seriously?? A bag of pizza? Where do you buy those? And how did she conveniently know exactly what was in that bag of trash?

I would have just said it was a bag of trash, not pizza...

OH thank you! Now I know why I don't have it--boss doesn't want to pay any extras like $1.99!

Curious about the simm card, however.

No, no - it's free as long as you register for My Account Online :)

Well, it brings me back to Scott Peterson, saying that Laci was "amazing". In my opinion, she has set her mind to believing that Caylee is okay, and blocked out what she truly knows.

I knew about this, it was Trumbull County Ohio, he was with the Sheriff's Dept.
His fellow workers said he was a great guy, there was a
story about Caylee in an Ohio newspaper, don't have the link.
No one ever did say why he quit his job after 10 years though.

It would be interesting to know what trash was in the trunk of the car. Like papers, dates, addresses on mail. Was the trash being used to cover the obvious smell etc. Was it bagged or loose.

  • #376
My son NEVER brought the PIZZA! :(
chatty already did this (for at least a week...thank you chatty!) and she said it didn't rot or smell...it shriveled up like an old man's u~know~whats. and it was even super, super supreme!

Has anyone posted the crap that Cindy spewed this morning?

From wftv.com:

Cindy Anthony: "She's leading you to a place, but she's not telling you to the exact right apartment, because she's afraid, if someone walks in, something may happen to Caylee. That's all I can say without jeopardizing this case."

Is she really in such denial that she believes this??

So the reason that she led authorities to a vacant apartment, and then to an old-folks home, is because she doesn't want to lead them to the REAL apartment, because Caylee might get hurt.

Uh huh. Child's been missing for almost six weeks, and this is the best story that grandma can come up with?

I'm starting to thing that Cindy's as despicable as her daughter.

Anyone else's systolic go up 30 points everytime Cindy appears on TV?

Hi QA
That is what I was saying last night and day before...lol
Caseys behavior is a learned behavior but she has it mastered.

Yes,some invisable person in the vacant apt. is gonna pop out and and hurt an invisable Caylee and the visable people are in danger. sheesh.:bang:

  • #378
My understanding is she had one lost phone and one working phone.
But didn't the sim card fall out of that one? I heard some guy said it was necessary for the phone to work. To be honest with you, whenever that whole conversation came up here my brain went into deep freeze. I'm technologically illiterate.

Why is Caylee using "Papa along with Mama"?????

I am a single parent, no father around for my son, he never learned "papa". No reason to as he didn't see his "papa".

papa is also very commonly used for a grandparent.

K - thankx. I thought so too - but would like to know what ex-LE George was. I'll go back to digging around about him - see if I can find it. He was LE in Ohio right? I was trying to find out WHERE in Ohio - came across the city of Niles (county of Trumbull) - anyone else found something tracing them back to Ohio?
