OT - my son is currently in basic training at Ft. Knox - 81st AR

Hoping and praying he don't end up in Iraq or Afghanstan - but I don't think that is going to be the case. I gotta be brave!

:)

GB you and your son, SWAG1959!
Prayers and thoughts for all of you! Please thank him for his service for me!

In a perfect world, there would be no war, no missing children, no abuse, no murders, etc. However, we know and hear of horrific happenings everyday.

My heart is in this case to the point I hardly follow the other (5) I had been following. This case is an enigma! Too many twists and turns, and too many lies.

I honestly DO have sympathy for the family of a missing child. BUT, I completely turn against them when it might seem that they have knowledge of where Caylee is (GPA's statement tonight) and are not telling LE. Unless GPA had come directly from the police station after having told LE, that is.

Caylee was loved. You can tell by the pictures and so on. She was a beautiful child. I would love for her to be found alive and well, but I just do not believe she will be.

I know it does not tie into the case itself, but I do wonder where all the money is coming from in that family. One thing that bothers me is that in the People magazine layout, Caylee's toys were pristine. All of it looked as if it was new. My grandchildren's toys are certainly not in that condition. This part just nags away at me.

Leila~ We established there was a burn ban going on in Florida so a fire would be extremely noticable anywhere. I thought the worst immediately, too. Now...that being said...there are transient camps in Jay Blanchard Park. You can't tell me they don't light some sort of fire to cook or to stay warm on some nights. Just saying...

I agree............I know there's a burn ban in Florida, and we have one here too, but that still doesn't prevent people from burning.

Wasn't trying to argue but does LE in Orlando look for any missing children. It may not be so strange that they are not searching for Caylee then.
Down here in SoFla - its on a "hit or miss" basis. The same week we had that poort 13 yr old behind the dumpster (by the way she had been missing for 3 weeks) we had 2 different ones in Miami that both made the local TV news and both were found. One boy was found on an Amtrak train in West Palm and the other girl just "came home". So whose to say who they look for and who they don't.

I still think that Caylee may have been in the car longer than just a trip to another location. I think Casey may have left the car at yet another location and it was never found or towed, so she moved it to where it would be towed. Perhaps a failed or discarded plan to claim a carjacking. IMO

If they did guess what? You would all be on here saying OMG they are SO guilty!
It's been rumored that they already have though that person wasn't really plausible. I don't think anyone here jumped in and said that they were guilty.
Guilty of what, BTW?

I am sure they are. I can't imagine why they wouldn't be.

I am sure they are too, but it would be REALLY nice to think that SOMEONE has had contact with Caylee.

Oh God and the word contact just gave me a thought that I will not share.

ITA There may be NO right moves for this family right now as far as John Q Public is concerned.

No there isn't but they made it this way. I truely think they know more then what they are saying.

OT- is it okay to go to the mods when someone attacks you on the board, or are you just seen as a tattletale? And, no it wasn't on this forum, you guys are great.
I'm so sorry! Boo!

How do we know George didn't just take the gas cans (if they were indeed there) and the "pizza" out of the car but not throw them away? Maybe he just transfered them to the shed and this was the reason for the second CSI trip yesterday to their home?

Oh, I believe the gas cans were in the car and George took them out. Maybe I didn't make myself clear - sorry! I had stated in another post that if the gas cans were plastic, they would hold prints well. Also, they would be rough on the bottom. A fiber(s) from the trunk might be on the rough part. Maybe dirt particles as well. There could also be some transfer of something else that had been in the trunk on the gas cans.
I was also stating that George could be in a great deal of trouble if he did not call and tell LE that the gas cans had been recovered as he had made a 'stolen' report on them.
And yes. I think CSI did come get the gas cans yesterday.

:)

Tonight on Geraldo - George was "interviewed" right before air time by Geraldo's bro - he said that "Caylee is alive and well, absolutely".
That guy was Geraldo's brother? A little nepotism, huh?!

Sorry...OT

Sadly, I think this was just a horrible accident. Caylee was probably left in the car too long in the heat and dingbat Casey panicked and.......well the rest is history. I just pray that her little broken body is found and she is properly laid to rest. I think when this happens poor Cindy is going to end up being committed.

As for all of them being involved - that is really hard to do - get a group of people to cover up a crime. With this group - the "trust" dynamic isn't NOT only not there - they couldn't even spell the word, which is why publicy they have "made their bed" and now have to "lie" in it. (pun intended)

Oh how I wish I lived closer..... I'd gladly take on either of the last two "positions"

If I lived closer I would take on any of those positions. I really want this baby found one way or the other.

Updates anywhere, anyone??

What I found most interesting tonight was on Geraldo when they said the Padilla admitted to that female FOX reporter that the "stain" was actually blood.

That would also mean if the body was bleeding - there would be (or should be) blood on "other things". Dontcha think?

It makes me wonder what the Anthony's are holding back. But in this case, the why could tell just as much as the what. And until this case, I had never seen a group of people be so vocal, yet say absolutely NOTHING.

I am considering relocating to FL...just for awhile. I need a new job anyway.

Maybe she was trying to figure out a way to get Ricardo to give her back and while doing that the "other" murder/death happened and she got caught in that web.

I would hope that LE is checking to make sure that all of Casey's new found friends are alive and well. If there was a smell of decomposition in that trunk, then it was someone's body.
Overdose coupled with heat maybe?
Caylee is the only KNOWN missing at this point.

I would give anything if little Caylee were alive and well.

I agree with you. I think she went somewhere, Caylee fell asleep in the backseat she forgot about her and freaked out.

One thing that will be interesting to watch is once this is all over. I have a very close family friend. Her brother shot and killed a cop - this was back in the late 50's. I wasn't around then but my grandmother used to tell me how people would ride by their house and throw rotten vegetables and stuff at their house. In this day and age - wonder what the public will do now - once all the media has moved on to the next story.
