Someone on this thread please explain to me why we keep rehashing and trying to figure out who Caylee's father is???? Who cares at this point????

She has been raised by the Anthony's and for the past three years they assumed the "dad" was dead.... Casey is the only one who knows where Caylee is (IMO) and who the bio dad is really not relevant to finding Caylee because obviously the father is "dead"! This speculating on who the dad is belongs on the THREAD about who the bio dad is, I don't read that thread because I do not think it is relevent to the case of Caylee being missing. LE doesn't seem to be too worried about the BIO father either.

Ok... sorry for the rant. Just uptight today, fearing that they will find Caylee's remains soon.

The only family members I'm aware of are Cindy, George, Lee and Cindy's elderly father? from the father's day pics.

I haven't seen any family support on the media at all. I haven't seen any of Cindy's co-workers interviewed. I gather she stated that she is an Ortho. nurse in a Private physician's office (not a hospital)...I would think they would be a tight group...(from my personal work experience~that's how we are in surgery)

She is no longer an ortho nurse. She now works in an administrative capacity for some company. I will look for the link, I remember reading this and think she is a clinical director for either a re-hab company or rent a nurse place.

No offense, but how could they? ... if they aren't sure who the father is. Why believe Casey and family's word on this when they have been so unreliable thus far. JMO

Let's use some sense about this, if there were some guy other than the one that was killed in the accident that thought he was the father, he would have been hanging around Casey and family and would be well known to police at least as one of their friends, and would have already been checked out. In any case how would he even know he was even the father unless a paternity test was done, knowing the lifestyle of happy-go-lucky Casey? CAsey doesn't remind me of the type that wanted the father aroound anyway, if she even knew who it was.

Cindy's mother is still around because Cindy mentioned her at the bond hearing about sending emails to Cindy's aunt ... or some relative.

New Pizza Test !

Just reported on Local 6 Orlando. The grandpa gave an example of how to get the "death smell" from the pizza. SO NOW, the local reporters have started a new pizza test ! This time they are using 4 pizzas.

I declare! So, are going to see if cadaver dogs hit on the scent after this test? All of this is so silly ... cadaver dogs are trained to hit on human remains ... not putrid pizza! Oh well it's entertaining anyway!

Unfortunately, I think they know because they have a strong suspicion that Caylee is no longer with us. Don't forget about the cadaver dogs.

SusieClue I don't think that has even been considered yet, and for sure, the family isn't thinking they wouldn't get custody. This would only probably come to light, if and when any charges would be levied against the family for their involvement with any obstruction
issues or if there is anything to prove that the family knew where Caylee was and wouldn't say.

That brings up the theory that if Caylee's family DOES know who her father is...perhaps they aren't letting the other family know because the father's family could very well get custody of Caylee now that her mother has LOST her...this all assuming Caylee is alive and well, obviously.

Reading between the lines of posters, trying to make sense of this family's non-sense, coupled with Casey's party pics, combining all with life experiences, I'd welcome comments on this scenario - if a young girl had been physically and mentally abused by her father for most of her life, perhaps had stuffed those feelings way, way down, then got pregnant, got scared, lied (probably had been lying her entire life anyway), but when the daughter became close to the age where the young mother's own abuse began, memories came back. I think whether intentionally committed or not, signs point to the mother for the daughter's death. But, her immaturity in conjouring up a believable story faltered. She and her father know. The father picks up the car, finds his gd, finds the gas cans, does the hiding/cleaning - the daughter would know he knows, he will keep the secret because she has kept their secret - to me, it explains her behaviour. The gm may know part, not all now; the bro may know part, not all - the unraveling we are observing may have begun with LE's pressure.

If there had been a body in that trunk from June 27 to July 15 it would smell so bad everyone would know. It would smell a block away and could not be hidden. JMHO

IMO - it won't really matter unless someone gets a cadaver dog to hit on it and I don't believe for a second that it will confuse the dogs one bit.

We do not know for certain he is the father, unless I have missed something.

I think that the reason is that they, understandably, want to rule out any members of his family having kidnapped her. I don't understand why the media is having so much trouble stating with certainty that Jesus Ortiz is the father... when folks on this thread have known it for a long time.

If I ask 100 people the following questions I could actually get answers that contain the truth 100 times.

Where do you work or where was the last place you worked?
Who is or was your babysitter?
Where did or do they live?
Who is the father of your child?

These are answers to the things that make up the fabric of our lives, these are not things tossed about and lied about for years on end. For this reason I can not believe in the story of ZG, I cannot believe Casey is protecting anyone but herself.

The newest theory isn't so much about Caylee's father, but about the father's family...so where does this theory fit into the other threads? I'm so confused...

Respectfully snipped ~ I believe there is no Guardian Ad Litem appointed because there has not been a court hearing, except for the bond hearing. They may be able to appoint one at the arraignment hearing now that Casey has been formally charged. How long do they have before the arraignment? Three days (72 hours)?

No, it is a seperate motion filed by the state, not part of the bond hearing specifically, Under the presumption that Caylee was alive at the time, based on the evidence, it is standard practice, especially in felony neglect..

IIRC, the car was towed on 6/30, the family just wasn't notified until 7/15. So if there was a dead body in the car, it would have only been a few days.

Have any of you wondered if maybe... just maybe that Casey partied so much that she acutally forgot just who she let have Caylee? Maybe a party or something and she allowed someone to take her so she could continue on?

I just wonder why she wouldn't begin to give out more info if she purposly hurt her. Eventually a liar begins to talk/speculate to much giving themselves away. So it causes me to wonder if she is racking her brain trying to figure who really has her.

I doubt that's what happened. I would think (hope) that if that was the case that person would've bought Caylee home when all this hit the news.

I don't understand all the interest in who Caylee's father is, as it is not germain to the case.

It was reported that an inmate said Casey told them that Cayle is with her ex. Which ex does she mean? A dead one or someone entirely different? It's relevant imo especially when nothing else useful comes out.

Also just because we are now hearing about the father doesn't mean that LE just started this avenue of investigation. When they said dna are back then it's just as possible this is the dna they meant.

Guys if we do not stay on topic of "General discussion" then when it comes time for a trial, it will be a Pain in the to have to scroll through 100-s of threads where we keep rehashing. If we limit the topics to Caylee's father in "Caylees father" thread, then the less chance of it being rehashed will be less likey because it will all be in one thread.

PLEASE STAY ON TOPIC! THIS THREAD IS ONLY FOR "GENERAL DISCUSSION". If you have something to add, check to see if there is already a thread created BEFORE you add it to the general discussion thread.

I know its already annyoying several posters who have to scroll through the same type of posts in 20 some different threads. Stuff that was brought up, 2 days ago, is being brought up today. We are rehashing several things over and over.

Thats why we have a forum, and the daily recap thread. So we can prevent the rehashing! Please check there before you post, to see if what you are about to add to the discussion has not already been covered!

OTOH, why not just admit that you forgot? Especially at this point! She's looking at serious charges so if she just forgot where she left Caylee due to drugs, alcohol, whatever, she better start talking and letting them in on her little "drug induced amnesia". Since she's not, I think it's safe to assume that she did not "forget" where she left her.
