My brother got over 98% of his body burnt from gasoline he had 3rd & 4th degree burns from a accident / he lived 27 days & died.

Casey could very well of done that. She never wanted anyone to ever know what happened to Caylee. So she may of gotten rid of her once & for all......thinking she did the perfect crime.

Casey strikes me as a heartless sociopath. Drinking and hanging with friends days later with a huge smile on her face.

I believe I read here earlier today that Cindy said she offered the information about washing the pants to LE the first night, and they weren't interested. It wouldn't be surprising that LE didn't include that in their initial report if they didn't seem to find it important.

Well, I would love to see that. Truly, I would. That may just change my mind on how I feel about this info.

I think ,and yes it's only my opinion, that she withheld the information because she was scared...truly scared.

Why do you think that she then offered the info up?

I was thinking kind of the opposite. IOW, I thought she didn't mention it intially because she didn't think for a minute that her daughter killed Caylee. Consequently she dismissed info that seemed insignificant. But as time has gone on, she is thinking more and more about what transpired and offering more information as she thinks of it to get to the bottom of it.
I think Cindy is seeing the light and is helping to discover the truth.

I'd really like for LE to address that...because if they didn't take note of the items than I think it was a lapse in judgement and presumptuous on their part. I also wondered why they didn't collect the boots and shoes yesterday (unless they already had them).

I think so. After all, she is all they've got. Casey sure isn't talking!! She may be freely providing information once push comes to shove on some issues. She is certainly NOT forthcoming with all information. There is a difference. It was discovered, she didn't volunteer it! Don't forget the feds got involved shortly before this 8/4 interview. I think it was 7/31 or so. Coincidence that this info was discovered shortly thereafter? Not a chance!

I agree w/ this completely. There is a huge difference between volunteering information and reluctantly admitting things under questioning w/ the very real threat of obstruction of justice charges hanging over your head. I also agree that that is exactly why the Feds were called in.

The car smelled like death and her granddaughter was missing. There is an entire 911 call devoted to this. She knew something was amiss. And again, why would you touch anything in a car that you just admitted smelled like it had a d*mn dead body in it?

Oh, definitely. Casey, Amy, and JP have all done so - JP is becoming someone I'd like to learn alot more about.....
Not ONLY is he Ricardo's roommate, he is a News Editor for WFTV Channel 9 in Orlando - he has several comments from Casey on his MySpace, it's obvious they were friends (or at the least, party buddies).... doesn't HE have anything to say about little missing Caylee???? She did volunteer it blondietx. Unless you are suggesting they had her hooked up to electrodes or they threatened her in some way.
I think she said she has tried to give them all kinds of things that LE wasn't interested in before but are now. I think everyone doens't think of everything all at once and that is why they often interview several times.
Sounds like LE has passed up on a few things.
Like the card at the apt complex. IIRC, they did not know about the sloppy handwriting..didn't a newsperson?? discover the date error?? or Only then did they come out and get the card.

Where does the shovel fit into that?
Anywhere, I suppose. Wouldn't need a shovel to load bags and wouldn't need a shovel to load a body, either.

If she had used a shovel to dig Caylee up or bury Caylee--certainly there would have been an obvious hole or earth disturbance that they wouldn't even need a dog to alert a scent at the area. The eye would alert ya, I would think. The sand box would have been the easiest. Still, no shovel needed there.

I guess I'm not all wa-hoo over the 18th being shovel borrowing day. It makes no sense, imo. Caylee according to recent hunches would have died the 16th? 17th? ...not the 18th. Casey didn't have the shovel long, so it wasn't to take with her to use. Wouldn't Casey need the shovel the 16th or 17th to... god forbid...bury her child?

I'm not so sure I'm completely buying the recall of the neighbor 'bout the 18th as the day the shovel was borrowed. It just doesn't fit in....unless we go with the stated use--dig bamboo? maybe scoop some poop so the pool area didn't have odor or nastys around it?

The shovels use in a *crime* really only fits to me if it were the 23rd or so, it was used to get into the shed, Casey backed in to load clothes because she couldn't go home w/o Caylee. She needed clothes and by then money had run out and she needed gas?

I thought mebbe the 24th she had returned and intended to sneak the cans back (since she was aware they had been reported stolen per Cindy). She didn't need the law on her heels with Caylee missing. Also maybe sneak in a little laundry washing, there was detergent in her trunk (at least that's the story) and she was broke and most apts have central coin areas to wash.

Well, I guess Tony and roomate could have had a washer dryer in the unit...who knows. I don't. I'm just guessing and going by my lifes experience and what makes sense to me. Others see things different....I just see it this way.

The bank would cover the forgeries. Car insurance would replace the missing car. Why the heck were those the two things mentioned to the 911 operator instead of the missing grandaughter??

Was Steve Avery the man that burned the woman on a small bbq on his balcony? I remember the story of the man that did that. The neighbours complained of the stench and said he was doing it for days! ewwwwwwww!

No Avery killed Teresa & put her body in a garbage barrel & burnt her up. They owned a junk yard out in the country.

For the same reasons you do. I think in the beginning she was traumatized by what was happening to her and she feared her daughter's involvement. Her head must have been spinning! As time went on, I think she adjusted and continues to adjust to the reality of what's going on. I also think she's been coached on how to address it 'cause in the beginning she truly confounded people by what she was saying.

I base my opinion on that very call. I do not think for one minute that during that call she thought Casey had harmed Caylee. Someone else , but not Casey.The pants were inconsequential at that point. But as she is seing the story unravel and is coming to realize that her daughter is just full of chit, things like the pants take on new meaning.IMO, she is diging for previously dismissed details and taking them straight to LE.

I really don't think that we should start choosing random people of being Caylees's father. And again there is a separated forum for this.
