what I mean is the only report of the smell came from Cindy and perhaps george.
It's been reported, but at this time of night I don't have strength to go and look for it. Anyone else?

I posted it just before your post.

From the bond hearing:

Orange County Sheriff's Detective Yuri Melich said a car driven by Casey Anthony smelled of decomposition when investigators recovered it. "I was a homicide detective for two years with the Orange County Sheriff's Office. From my experience, the smell that I smelled inside that car was the smell of decomposition," he said.

Oh, bless you.

What about the detective at the bond hearing? Didn't he testify about the odor?
oh thanks Amster. I will watch it again tomorrow and check it out.

If Caylee is dead, I would almost have to assume that she was in the car, but i still don't think that Cindy thought about it at all when washing the pants. Remember, we have hindsight.

The first responding officer may have smelled decomp in the car. We don't have access to that report. Once the responding officer showed up the Anthony's may have not mentioned that the car smelled and the officer didn't know it was an important piece of evidence. LE officers don't always here the 911 call until after the fact.

Casey led LE on a wild goose chase and they humored her for a day before placing her under arrest for child neglect. IMO, at that point is when the car became important to LE.

silly as it sounds I think Cindy is just a neatnic. Cindy was hating the clothes not put away in Casey's room, kept them there until she could stand it no more.

Look at their garage...floor is painted so that there are no stains, most things appear boxed and labeled. On Greta she apologizes or makes excuses for the part of her yard that she feels isn't up to standard.

The decorations in their home seem pretty clean, meaning not cluttered and such. The walls are all white, the home is painted in light colors. The 97 pontiac looks pretty darn clean for a car of it's age.

She talks about checking the pool daily (filters and such). Her dogs fur looked clean and shiney. Odors bother her, like smoke.

Caylee's room was very organized, high built-in shelves for the books, a hanging home for stuffed animals. Caylee's bed had pillows knocked off by the dogs, she picked them up right away.

She closes one side of the shed after a reasonable amount of time b/c imo she felt it isn't organized enough....like letting someone look in your 'junk drawer'. Casey's room is well organized.

I think Cindy was a loving and attentive mom, she took care of her children and perhaps too well. She was just being mom by washing dirty pants of her wayward daughter, they smelled and just reminded her of how Casey was living and perhaps her gd.

I don't think she thought in a million years her daughter could have possibly killed her grand daughter! She just shuddered at the thought of Caylee living in some smoke filled home with a bunch of slobs. She just wanted to clean up because that's her routine and what she does naturally. jmo

....and the dogs, don't forget that the dogs 'hit' on the trunk too.....

Dogs are not 100% accurate, unfortunately they do make mistakes.

You know the closing the shed thing when Greta was there really struck me as odd for some reason. It is as if she did not want to linger there. At least thats the impression I got.

I am by no means a nitnick and I know when somebody is about to see a crammed closet that I use as a hiding place for my junk, I try to "casually close it as quickly as possible.

This is a quote from a CNN story dated 7/22:

"Sheriff's deputies said her car smelled of decomposition, and a cadaver-trained German Shepherd noted a smell of human remains in the car and her yard. They said they found a stain, dirt and what seemed to be piece of Caylee's hair in Anthony's trunk."

Ok I gotta know. Its a dumb question but driving me crazy What is LE, I knows something to do with police. But what does it stand for?
Not sure if you got your answer 'cause I'm re-reading...but LE means law enforcement...and if you happen to know what MOO means pass it on to me.

If LE can be let off the hook for not realizing at first that the car was a valuable piece of evidence, why can't Cindy be let off the hook for not realizing the pants were a valuable piece of evidence? She didn't even know Caylee was missing when she removed the pants from the car. LE did know, yet they weren't concerned with the car or it's contents. I think their lack of concern lends credibility to Cindy's story that she told them about the pants the first night and they brushed her off.

Okay...RR...I just have to ask...where do you think Caylee is?

I think there is a 50% chance she is alive. I do not know where or why but I am not convinced she was murdered by her mother.

Yes, got it thanks. But can't help you on the moo:blushing:

Did you see that interview Greta did Thursday night? Cindy's kitchen table looked like a cyclone hit it.
