Any thoughts on why Casey refused to talk with Lee today?

I think you missed the most important part of that post. Why did Cindy feel the need to track Casey down when she supposedly talked to her every day.

I have an answer, she didn't talk to Casey everyday. IMO that is something she made up for the bond hearing so that Casey would look more responsible.
I wonder why Cindy waited to report Casey on the 15th of July?:D

This question has been answered over and over. It is also in the bond hearing video or transcript. Cindy found Amy's number on a piece of paper in the car.
But Cindy had Casey's phone number, and according to her testimony at the bond hearing, she and Casey either spoke on the phone or texted each other all but one or two days of the 30 days Casey was gone.

Why was it necessary for her to track her daughter down by calling a phone number she found in the car?

Clearly, Casey did NOT want to go home.

I think the Anthony's belief that Casey in speaking in clues and then expecting all the media and public to believe it as well has caused problems. This is like putting Casey out there as some sort of heroine in a soap opera. Even Jose the attorney said something similar. It must be a plan of some sort. It has to be. No one could actually believe this stuff. If the detectives just believed them and started looking for clues in the eyes and speech of Casey, they'd never find Caylee.

We watched Cindy say it repeatedly on interviews and in the Bond Hearing that she spoke or texted with Casey on a daily basis the entire time she was gone for that month supposedly.

The question is...do their phone records bear this out?

Thanks. I've heard people say Cindy said this but have never heard those interviews. I seriously doubt the phone or texting records bear this out b/c her myspace message was a painful plea from a mother and a grandmother who had no idea what was going on w/ her daughter and grandaughter. That message was posted 7/3--I believe--and later deleted.

My, my you are so logical ;)

That's right...another inconsistency. I'm not sure why actually she has given the impression that she was in contact with Casey all the time.

That is not inconsistent you can talk to someone on the phone and not know where they are. Give me a break.

We just talked to our son earlier tonight and he said he is on his way home from VA. He did not say where he is so I don't know he could still be in VA, WV,PA, Ohio, or Indiana. Although probably not IN or he would have be home now.

Just because I talked to him doesn't mean I knew where he was.
Why is that so hard for some people to grasp?

Except that, even in this, there are clear indicators (or should I say contra-indicators) that George and Cindy do not have blinders on where Casey is concerned. Cindy told Casey that it was her fault she was in prison. If they buy this ridiculous kidnapping story, then this statement makes no sense as Casey is a victim as well.

And Cindy called 911 reporting her daughter, even characterizing it exactly this way w/ Greta tonight. Similarly, George approached the first investigator w/ his concerns about Casey. This does not fit w/ a couple that believes in their daughter's innocence despite other contradicting statements they have made in public.

I think at first they were angry at Casey for not telling where Caylee is. Then when they went to the prison and spoke to her (conversations that they have not released), she fed them some story about dangerous characters to keep up her charade, and they bought it hook, line, and sinker. When you get caught up in a conspiracy theory, it's hard to see past it.

Casey thought Lee might ask her about the letter she was supposed to have done?
Or maybe Jose let her see video of Lee providing LE with the Phoney email add for universal and or and maybe also she was gonna show Cindy I can play the same cancel game as you guys. :croc:

But would you claim he has been missing, like Cindy claimed Casey was?

It also makes people scrutinize and theorize about every word everyone in this family says, trying to decipher the 'clues'.

Cindy is the one who suggested that her daughter is talking in riddles. She can't then complain when people try to figure out those 'codes', since very few come from Casey herself - they're conveyed by her family members.

This is not a game. This is a child's life, and it disrespects that child for her grandmother to make excuses to explain why her mother won't say where she is and what happened to her. It's a disgrace.

No doubt we have all observed dysfunctional control issues between family members and Casey.

Its hard to grasp because she could have just called Casey herself. Why is that so hard for you to grasp?

MOO -- they aren't clues -- they are decoys of false information to try to create a reasonable doubt. Casey grew up in a home with her father being a homicide detective.

Because Cindy did not want to talk or text her on the phone she wanted to see her in person and see Caylee.

Cindy and George CONFRONTED CASEY on the 12th of July, over their concern about Caylee URGING HER to go to LE. There are a lot of inconsistencies with this case.

Picked on?! No way! I began noticing inconsistent statements from Cindy early on in this case which sent up red flags for me. I backed George until the day he started making the same mistakes. The ONLY consistent person in this family is Lee. I haven't seen or read one word of his that was even questionable.

The Anthony's brought this on themselves and I don't think we are in any way out of line here. If it walks like a duck...

LE was not being snobbish or conceited, but factual and professional, imo. They were simply telling it like it is and pointing out that what the family had said wasn't true. The fact that Cindy threatened to cease talking to LE if he contacted her father to verify the visit at the nursing center told me A LOT about her. She told him that she would handle it herself! WTH? This is a police investigation. The Detective had EVERY right to ask for her father's name to verify that visit. Who is she to tell him, "No!"?! How does that help find Caylee not to determine the last known date she was seen alive? Why would any grandparent of a missing child try to bully her way out of finding the exact date she went missing?! I would LOVE to hear the answer to that question directly from Cindy.

Yes SS, I have noticed you keep saying Cindy was the last person to see Caylee many times.
