Thought that crossed my mind last night. Probably nothing...just a thought.

Didn't Cindy say that she covered all of Caylee's expenses, and Casey worked only to earn fun-money (for lack of better words).

Whether it's ZG or not, what if Casey deliberately kept her "nanny" and Cindy separated, never letting them meet, because the whole work-nanny story is a lie. Follow me here...

What if she told Cindy that the nanny cost $150/week and that the nanny would only take cash. Cindy gives Casey cash to pay the nanny, but there never was a job, never was a nanny, and Casey used that money to pay for whatever her expenses were (Target clothes, beer, gas).

Just something that crossed my mind, since I have no doubt that, PRIOR to this whole thing, George and Cindy were manipulated in myriad ways by Casey. (I do believe that, since this thing broke, we've seen where Casey learned the art of manipulation--from her parents, who have proved to be quite skilled at it themselves.)

Good points......I could see that happening!

Is there any testimony from Casey's friends/family about her and Caylee's schedule prior to the disappearance? That is, have people close to Casey been saying that it was normal to not see Caylee because she was with the babysitter/nanny. Or were mom and daughter usually seen together (before June)?

Yep, seem bout rgt again. Now what makes me shutter is for a yr and half when Caylee was also with the so called nanny. Where was she actually?

Could she have a drug problem, was she in a for lack of better words in a shooting gallery, dank meth crack location. Where other people coveted Caylee while she was blasted? This does not add up, Caylee was not always with Casey's friends and if Casey always had Caylee with her, where were they?

AC--I must have been writing my last post at the same time you posted yours about the nanny. It looks like we're basically wondering the same thing.

LOL, I noticed that....but I've done the same many times myself.

The situation with George and the car doesn't bother me. I think it was mentioned that Casey had stole gas before. Maybe he suspected those cans would be in that trunk, therefore pushed the issue to get into it.

Cindy said during a "raw interview" with the media that the media is reporting that Geoge said "Casey stole gas before". Cindy was annoyed and with George standing behind her stated: George never said Casey stole gas before. http://www.wftv.com/video/17037822/index.html

Yes....so, let me throw this out there. Does anyone remember if any of Casey's friends also mentioned ZG? If ZG was the Nanny for over a year, wouldn't Casey have mentioned this nanny to her close friends? Has Lee ever mentioned ZG? Maybe the parents are covering.....it would seem there would be others to verify this nanny, if indeed she existed!
Oh Casey talked about Zanny the nanny and Caylee being with her but thus far not a soul has ever met or spoke with her. Nanny must never ever had emergencies, and was in perfect health really excellent health. GP's no emergency numbers exchanged. Nanny invisable for all of Caylee's life.

Hmmmmm! Well, George could have wondered why Casey was trying to keep him from the car....and that pushed some buttons as to why she would do that. It still doesn't mean a whole lot to me because it seems Casey is the one who is hiding information. I don't see George or Cindy really doing that, except for maybe trying to save their daughter's rear end. To me, the struggle between Casey and her parents are one thing....not as important as trying to figure out what happened to Caylee. To me, it seems George and Cindy want to know the same. Cindy did wash those clothes, but also said it was after LE had already looked in that trunk (I think she said a couple of days later), so she assumed that those clothes were not needed. I'm not saying my opinion won't change on this....it seems there is strange happening daily on this case. But the discovery of the gas cans are not a main issue, IMO.

Yes and No. She had Caylee around her friends they all claimed to have known and loved Caylee but then there were the parties, clubs, fun and sun, etc. where Caylee was either with Granny or Zanny.

I think that Cindy and George were starting to use some tough love on Casey.. and that's why the report....

I'm wondering what LE saw in the car or what they observed when they obtained TonE's address on a scrap of paper in the car prior to towing?

  • #298
CDF wasn't it Amy's address?

This is probably an ignorant question, but has a forensic accountant gone over Casey's financials? If she had a nanny, and even if she paid her with cash, she'd have to account for where the money to pay came from--whether she got it from a "job" or from her mother, and then there would be some way of showing how that money was subtracted either from mom's or employer's income. Even if it's always been cash--the math would be the same.

I think they filed a report because they were PO'd at Casey and were ready to start coming down on her. They were ready to get her for the CC and everything. I think they were ready to make her grow up and be more responsible and if she couldn't handle that...I think they were going to try and take Caylee. jmo

I think filing the police report regarding the stolen gas cans was the beginning of the events that followed based on the car being found in the parking lot, etc., etc. I feel it was a CYA factor here and let's do this, to cover this, and when they find the car, etc., etc.

When OCSD put on their website on July 28th or there abouts about the robbery and the media started looking for answers, George didn't say a word until about a week or so ago that "he knows who stole them and he is satisfied with it" or something to that quote.

All George has to say was "we found the gas cans in Casey's car on the 24th of June". Although the talk probably wouldn't have ended, but now it makes it even more suspicous of the 24th and what Casey and George discussed on that day.

Cindy didn't recall when George called the police as she probably wasn't home and I believe her when she said that to Greta the other day.
