According the this morning's Fox vid, Caylee has been missing from Casey since June 14th? Really. Has she shared this with LE?

"Anthony Lazzaro called claiming her first learned of Caylee's disappearance by deputies coming to his house early this morning and inquiring about it. He claims he met the defendant in May and had been dating her since June. He claims he last saw Caylee on or about June 2nd while at the pool at his complex. He had not seen Caylee since. He has never met Zenaida not knows were she lives. It was he that contacted Amy Huizenga and had her call me regarding this case. Anthony said while the defendant lived with her since June 9th, she mentioned several times that Caylee was with the "nanny" at Disney, Universal Studios, or the beach. She never gave him and indication that the child was endangered or missing.

I think what he meant was, while the defendant lived with her (Amy) since June 9th...

http://www.foxnews.com/video2/video...//www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,387283,00.html

This is the Fox News video from this morning. Cindy says now that Caylee has been missing from Casey on June 14th. Not the 9th? This is the confrontational interview with Cindy on the phone. Cindy actually hung up on the interview.
Casey's friend told LE that she went with Casey and Caylee for a walk (I think?) at the mall on either the 12th, 13th and 14th. LE later stated there was no confirmed sighting after the 9th, but I'll bet they're combing through the mall security cameras.

On the subject of where Casey was staying, later in the affidavit she admits to staying with Ricardo Morales, which was a point of interest because his address is across the street from one of the apartment buildings Casey pointed out to LE as being either Zenaida's, or Z's mother's.

I think.

"A daughter she probably had no reason to doubt until now."

No disrespect, but I kind of doubt that. Casey didn't just become a liar overnight, not the kind of lies she was telling.

The gm has put herself in front of the media and the public asking for help finding her grand-daughter. How she comes off does have an impact on the public.

One thing I don't understand is why did Casey need this babysitter when she lived home and I would assume her grandparents would be watching Caylee, and Casey didn't work (another lie that she mother apparently didn't realize). So did Casey get ready to go to work every day, leave, take Caylee to a babysitter...and then what did she do all day?

The particular incident that bothers me is when the gm said Casey told her that Caylee was staying overnight with the babysitter and that was the last time she saw her. That just seemed very odd to me when she lived home, why would she find the need (or expense) to have Caylee stay overnight with anyone, when the grandparents were home and I assume watched her most of the time. And the way she said it made me think she knew exactly who this babysitter was...like she didn't seemed surprised at this arrangement. The gm didn't seem like the type of person who would want her granddaughter staying with a sitter when she could be home sleeping in her own bed.

Well, I'm out of here. I've been following this since the start and even began the very first thread.

But I find myself increasingly unhappy and disappointed by most of my fellow websleuthers.

Legitimate questions have been asked such as when was the last time anyone saw Casey driving the car (for example) yet no one (or hardly anyone) even tries to answer.

For the most part it is villify Grandma and say someone should force Casey to talk.

Well, this is America and the unfortunate truth is we can't force anyone to talk.

Unless evidence ends up showing me otherwise, I will try ad remain understanding of the Grandmother. She's lost her beloved granddaugther (and I have seen no evidence to prove otherwise). The daughter she loves has been show to be a pathological liar in front of the whole world. A daughter she probably had no reason to doubt until now.

And that daughter is her her only link to Caylee.

If I were her, I would also be desperately hoping Caylee were alive. That my daughter didn't harm her. that Casey, despite everything, might still tell the truth. That if the grandmother defends her enough and believes in her enough, something good will happen. What else can she do?

This thread(s) remind of the Ramsey boards. Vilify the parents or grandparents. Ignore other lines of inquiry.

I will continue to hope and pray for Caylee as well as for those who love her.

Anne, I don't recall seeing anything about when Casey was last seen driving the car. That would help the time line also of her whereabouts.

Where are the toys and clothes Casey had for Caylee during the mini vacation, and 3-5 weeks of living somewhere else? Did she just throw Caylee's stuff away when she went missing? Did she take nothing from the grand parents house. Where is the search for all items that Caylee would have needed. On the Today Show the grandfather was holding Caylee's "favorite" teddy bear. A 2 year olds belongs would be a trail to follow.

I'm starting to think that Casey came by her pathological liar trait via her mother...

PandaJ,
I agree! Its so frustrating. I don't understand hardly any of this.

Seems to me there is a family secret. Why else would no one talk?
What seceret is grandmother protecting?

Earlier it crossed my mind that grandmother wanted to appear on Casey's "side" for fear that she may never know where the baby is. This poped in my head when Trrenton Ducketts family was there. Maybe they gave her that advice?

I really dont know. I have tried to find all the videos of grandmother to see what you all are talkign about. I have seen a few snippets, but none where she was snappy. I was watching Fox when someone said she was coming up on MSNBC and switched channels but must have missed it. Checked back and she was on Fox! Lord, I can't keep up. (pretending to work also)

I just havent seen where she acts crazy, more like hiding a deep family secret. But one thing bothers me. Why she said she cant talk to Casey.
I wonder if the LE is purposly keeping them apart for a reason..?? Most jails have phones for the inmates to use and they do have visiting hours.

ALL JMO

I think LE has many reasons for refusing any communication between Casey and her mother.
I also think LE knows the whole family is in on this tragedy, I am beginning to wonder if the Grandfather could be involved somehow in a way I don't want to express at this time.
This is one screwed up mess, and a poor innocent baby is/has suffered because of the lies and self centered actions of the adults involved.
I better throw in a MOO JMO

Has this date changed since the friend stated she went walking with them on or about Jun14? Or is this something else?

The people who admit to seeing Casey after June 9th are Anthony L, Amy H and Ricardo M. None of them saw Caylee either on that day or subsequent days. Everyone was told she was elsewhere, and seemed to accept that Casey would have left her daughter with a 'nanny' for an indefinite period of time. (WTH?)

Either one or more of them are lying, or something happened almost immediately after Casey and Caylee left grandma's house on June 9th.

Well, I'm staying around because I'm impressed with the posters here. IMO when a child is missing you tell law enforcement the complete truth - good, bad, or ugly.

SuziQ, thank you so much for the timeline!! Great job!

I can't get over the grandmother's interviews.

My heart aches for little Caylee.

If not mistaken Meghan Kelly (FOX) has law degree.

I saw that. Is grandma saying that she was jealous, or Casey was jealous? Of what? That statement can be taken in a couple of different ways.

Hi guys,
I am new to all this and I have only posted a couple of times. I have been trying to keep up but it is hard with a 17 month old running around. I was wondering and maybe this has been brought up before. But what if, Caylee's dad is not dead, and just maybe that Casey sent her to be with her Dad, because of her mother wanting to take Caylee away. Just MO, the reason I was thinking this, is because the 17 month is my grandson that I took from my daughter, DSS was after her and I got custody of him before he was put in the system. Thank God I have him now, My daughter ran and moved around with alot of drug heads and still does. I am just throwing out something here and hoping for the very best for that sweet child.
PS.. Please forgive my spelling.

Exactly! Someone is trying to save their own sorry hide instead of looking out for what is important - Caylee. :furious:

I can promise you that if I was in this situation (God forbid) that my parents wouldn't go on TV with innuendo and suspicous remarks. They would be kicking my azz until I told them the truth about their granddaughter.
