Not to judge, but looking at Casey's lifestyle and the number of guys she was seeing in a fairly short amount of time (wasn't she staying with an ex while dating some other guy?), I wouldn't be surprised if even she didn't know exactly who the father of Caylee is. I really doubt her own father is Caylee's father.
I tend to agree with you. But there is no doubt that "something" was going on during that time period with the family.

I try to put myself in her shoes. If I were the victim of incest and a child was born, would I be such a "loving mother" toward the result of incest? Or would the g'ma love this child so dearly?

I'm not ready to buy this yet, but on the other hand, Casey sure has a great love for her brother, as does Caylee?

Yeah, I'm planting thoughts. lol

I am just throwing things out there,.... but from what I have seen GM seems to be a control freak. She would DEFINITELY not want people to know that "family member" (insert any family member here) was messing around with Casey. So she would take "control" of anything and everything to make sure that no one found out. JMO

Has everyone from here gone over to the Orange County Clerk website?
It's either very crowded or one of the slowest court sites I've ever searched.

Wait...George's last name isnt Anthony?
Am I reading ya'll right?
Or am I totally confused?

Yes their last names are the same which is why I don't unerstand why people are assuming he is Caseys step father???

My husband adopted my daughter and now we all have the same last name.

It's probably crowded. There are a lot of lurkers on too.

50k flyers donated to find missing girl

In addition to flyers donated, a $5,000 reward has been offered by the Never Lose Hope Foundation to find Caylee.

You know, I'm very grateful for that truly. I want this child found. But if down the road it comes out that one or all of these people (the Anthonys) know where this child is then I'll be mighty pissed that the time and money spent on looking for her didn't go to a needier family.

I just hope that Caylee is found SOON!!!!!!
I don't understand how the GM is saying that people aren't getting the word out? I don't understand how this case isn't on every channel? I mean the case is about a missing BEAUTIFUL two year old little girl and on top of that IT IS THE WEIRDEST CASE I HAVE EVER SEEN ON TV. You'd think that every news station would be on it like white on rice?! I live in PA and its on every news channel here,.. so how come its not on every news channel close to FL? Just wondering

He apparently is her bio dad. Just did a quick search and saw several entries calling him "Casey's dad."

I think Casey was just a party girl and didn't want "MOM" to tell her what to do, even though mom probably tried to tell her to stay home and raise her daughter. I see this plenty with the self-centered younger adults these days.

There are 3 cases for a Casey M and Casey Marie Anthony!
Darn slow website will not open them for me.

 Please don't saw it off! I was only speculating....and apparently not alone...
When people put themselves in the public eye they have to expect speculation.

Not something others here, including myself, have not thought about also.:)

My mother is very controlling and I can see that same thing in Cindy. All my life my family deferred to mother -- there would be he!! to pay if we didn't. She does not show emotion unless it is self-pity. I'm thinking Casey wants to keep Caylee away from grandma.

The poster said :

QUOTE: The grandfather is a step-grand, right? I think I read that very early in the case....

So, if true that would have made/makes him the 'step GD'

My daughter was adopted and she calls him "dad".

From the Today Show

Where is missing 2-year-old? Her mother may know

Toddler’s grandmother says her jailed daughter ‘knows who has her’

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/25780516/

Video at the above link. I can't get a direct link to work
Well, if that is the case and Casey hasn't divulged this information to LE then she just assured her own daughter of a guilty finding on the obstruction of justice charge. Way to go GM!

I'm just beginning to read today's thread, am on page 1, and just when you think this case can't get any more "out there", it does. Cindy Anthony needs to step away from this, as difficult as it might be, and let LE do their job.
As usual this "statement" from Cindy makes no sense at all. This poor woman needs some heavy duty help. "CODES" this sounds so mental to me.

I agree with the posters who say that Casey probably doesn't know or care who Caylee's bio father is. " Dead father" doesn't wash. This isn't World War II era America. Besides, even if he did die, he most likely had family who have grandparent's rights. There's the matter of the birth certificate and child support, too. IF she cared, she would have pursued the paternity angle legally, but apparently, she hasn't.

The more I try to put myself in Casey's place, in jail, alone, without her friends, her drugs, whatever, the more convinced I am that she did something much worse to Caylee than child neglect. Otherwise she would have the person holding Caylee produce her so Casey could get bonded out of jail ASAP.

This family may all ACT crazy at times because crazy may be their best defense if Caylee is dead and one of them was the killer. JMO.
