If they had DNA evidence they would have pressed charges already...especially after hearing word that she may be bailed out...and Bounty Hunters hunt for a monetary reward when someone has failed to appear in court!! They bring that person in..they get their $$...that won't happen here...Casey ain't going anywhere

Have you ever followed other cases here or elsewhere? Just curious because of the first part of your statement.

Heres what I think, for what it is worth, I think that LE has connections in Orlando. Bailbonds people there are "in" with LE. It's like that everywhere. I don't think, and this is just my opinion based on life experience, that they are crazy about this two outsiders coming in and putting on a show. I think they are going to stop this release if at all possible. I could be wrong. It sure won't be the first time.

I agree with all of that but I also believe that was LP's intention from the beginning.

Tiffer do you think LE may have DNA and although convictions can be had without a body, they are much easier with a body so they are biding their time and hoping to get info on body?

Maybe Mr. Bounty Hunter has more pressing business

He said on Sunday it could be Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. So far he is still in that time line.

Casey and Jesse were engaged, right?
Does anyone know who broke off the engagement?

I bet it had something to do about DNA as he was not Caylee's father after all . . . JMHO

You don't have to have an indictment first to charge someone with murder. The indictment can come later.

True, but there are many strategies from a Prosecutorial standpoint that make that more desirable, secondly, their can be an evidentary issue if it is still being reviewed by the GJ.. If you have the time, I dont know of a prosecutor waging a case like this that would not take full adantage given the known evidence and the other presumptive factors..

Thanks! I figured it out!

Tiffer please quote the person you are replying to. Its really hard to go back, sometimes a page or two to see what you are talking about. And the current BH wont make a dime either way from the bounty as they where the ones who posted bail.

Only 1 SIM card contains the info for the account - and it's swapped between AT&T phones.

But who is to say she was always using the same phone?

:) Good question Alcina.

I disagree strenuously.

The DA will charge her when it's in THEIR best interests to charge her. They want to win their case & everything they do has that goal in mind.

And I think Casey bonding out might very well work out to be an advantage to the prosecution anyway.... it's hard to believe some BIG DRAMA won't take place if she gets out. Kind of makes me wish she would be released... just to see her shoot herself in the foot some more.

Actually, that remains to be seen, IMO. Tonight on all his interviews he would not confirm whether Casey would or wouldn't get out tomorrow. He got more into not claiming she would on Nancy Grace this evening than anywhere else

I agree Tiffer, if bounty hunters find people then they should find Caylee, no reason to bother with Casey, make that their "media 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬" goal.

Instead of spending 50 grand on Casey out of the goodness of his heart spend it on finding Caylee.

Was a paternity actually done? Or did Casey tell him Caylee wasn't his child?

I thought the bail bondsman made 10% even if the person shows up in court. That's how they make the majority of their money. But I'll admit I'm still puzzled as to why Casey's family hasn't bailed her out...it just seems like they could have come up with the needed amount by now, unless they were just leery. Folks bail out of jail every day all day long.

State's Attorney doesn't need Casey to be present in court to try her for present charges or future charges. They can try her in absentia. So, if they think she's going to be released on bail, that isn't a reason to be pushed into bringing future charges. There's a backlog of DNA testing. It is probably not back yet.

Demi Moore did that. Actaully she objected strenously.

Are you kidding me? Please check this out :blowkiss:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bounty_hunter

"A bounty hunter captures fugitives for a monetary reward (bounty). Other names, mainly used in the United States, include bail agent, bail enforcement agent, bail officer, fugitive recovery agent, fugitive recovery officer and bail fugitive recovery specialist."

Does that mean they can not or will not be allowed to look voluntarily to find missing children ?

She didn't - she did buy a Blackjack and she said it didn't hold a charge. In order for her to have used the old phone she had, she inserted the SIM into it and then promply "misplaced" or "lost" the Blackjack. I think the SIM is still in the old phone BTW - and even if it wasn't, all the calls made on that SIM and that account no matter which phone was used was noted in AT&T's system.
