Caylee has not been seen since June 16. How did these phone calls happen if Casey's phone was shut off on July 8 because of a $724 phone bill?

Yes, this is correct because Cindy went so far as to say when asked how Caylee could have gotten the number to dial the great-grandmother, she said it must have programmed in the "phone."

I'm telling you guys, I gave Renea very open-ended questions about Jesse in a PM last night where she easily could have made up stories and slammed him, and she said nothing negative about his phone call at all. I don't think she is trying to set him up.

Baez is on the record acknowledging they have circumstansial evidence of a death, but that clearly they don't have a prosecutable case at this time or charges would have been brought. I thought he was a nightmare in his public statements early on, he made two or three comments that I interpreted as him saying she was guilty. He has gotten better as time has gone on.

Yeah, and we are chatting about the circumstantial evidence on this forum. I am just hoping beyond hope that they have some DNA to back it up. And, yes, I wondered why Baez.....he was botching it at first. He does still slip up tho.

I didn't know that. There's just nothing too large or too small for Miss Casey to lie about. And people wonder why her parents never knew who fathered their grandchild? lol

Poor Lee.... no wonder he sounded so dejected.... as if he wasn't already embarrassed enough... you have to confirm to your neighbors what a b1tch your sister is.

I agree with you. I know A LOT of people are assuming she made it up. I have also seen some miss read what she said and then jump on her for lying.

I have to say, I forwarded the info to the FBI b/c if its true it needs to be looked into, if its made up, they will figure that out.
As soon as I read the bits of story here, I spoke with someone who is working on this case. As I was passing along the information, I was told that they had recently been told a very similar story, not by the Anthonys and not from Renea.
I am not sure what to make of that, but made me pay a little bit more attention to it.

Very interesting, ebrich! Off the top of my head, I can think of two scenarios that might fit what you were told. Thank you for sharing! :seeya:

Another question is if it is programed in Casey's phone then why was Calyee able to call her great-grandma after she want missing?? Did the ZG take Caseys phone with her?

The thought came to me today that with Casey's current charges of neglect it would seem that IF (I don't believe it for a minute) Caylee is found she probably wouldn't be reunited with Casey or even the grandparents. I have researched the charges and it appears that she might be placed in a temporary foster home, according to state laws, while Casey would receive counseling to see if she was not going to further "neglect" Caylee. Matter of fact the grandparents MAY NOT actually be considered by a caseworker to be able to prove they can reasonably assure the state that Caylee is say from neglect in the home. Just a thought.

One day, when this is all over I am going to sit down and write a list of all of the peripheral victims in the case - aside from the obvious ones.

:clap: I said something similar this weekend. How many lives has this girl ruined (aside from the likely obvious one)? Her family? Her friends? The Rev. and his family? The other guy who might be the father and his family? Every Zenaida Gonzalez in the continental US and Puerto Rico? It just isn't right, especially if none of them have any involvement.:banghead:

Baez is pretty naive if he thinks that amateurish goading will cause LE to rush their case.

He knows very well that they will be watching the calendar & make their moves when it's in THEIR best interests... not because 'MOTY Casey' is getting bored with the same old boring charges. lol

I don't assume for a second that she didn't believe she saw something the made her Spidey senses tignle, nor do I discount that she poke with anyone in the family or LE.

I merely don't think it is related to Caylee's disappearance - the sighting, I mean.

Nor do I think it is reasonable to post in a public forum that you are frightened of another person, especially one who is currently under a microscope, based on some one else's perceptions.

That's all I am having difficulty digesting.

I've avoided the whole Renea subject, but I do have one thing to say about it. She is aware I would think, as most are, that Jesse's dad has that letter that was on this site.

Even if she didn't know about or see that, usually at any mention of Jesse most are made aware of that situation fairly quickly. I wonder why she would tip off the Grunds on this, because it seems fairly certain that's who she was coloring a picture of. Why, if you truly suspect it could be the Grunds, why tip your hand?

Ok off that subject and will never touch it again. And no disrespect meant to Renea, I just found posting such importantinfo on a public website, well, questionable.
