The problem with making the perp someone "very close" is that eventually they'll have to put up or shut up, shut up, shut up!

Easier to pin it on a stranger who could be in the wind, no?

They only had to see or have Caylee on the 16th and not have alibi really they just need to not have an alibi. It would help if they watched Caylee from 1 to 3pm though.

Well....this is just me (and maybe a few others...shout out if you roll that way), but it looks like Padilla said all the right words to start the "friends have her" new story - that someone very close to Casey has Caylee.

I just knew that this was the direction it was going to take.

I hate to be technical and petty, but if Caylee was seen on June 16th, and the initial report was made July 15th, that's not 31 days. It's 30 days. Does it strike anyone else as odd that the first words out of Casey's mouth to the 911 operator was "I haven't seen (her) in 31 days?" Not to mention the tone of her voice was so calm, but it seemed strange when I heard "31 days". Why not "June 16th, I dropped her off.........."? Why then did the report initially get filed that she dropped her off on June 9th? They said they just didn't realize the date, but that very first day they all knew it was 31 days. Maybe I'm looking too hard at it, but IF you give any credibility to Casey, she wouldn't have said 31 days and then made the mistake of saying June 9th.

Proves to me that right from the starting line, these people were not being honest.

She wants there to be confusion. Either that or she can't recall, which is even worse. If I was distraught about my child being missing I would know how many HOURS it had been.

Remember Michael Walsh "Mental Issues"

It's coming wait for it.

"mental issues".... you have no idea how much that infuriates me for that guy.

I don't think she is trying to set him up either. I don't think she did anything wrong and should not be trashed on WS.

In every single missing persons case there are always lots of sightings in different States and areas. If everyone is trashed for reporting what they think is a missing person then everyone will stop looking out of fear. But that is just me and my opinion.
I certainly agree with this. The point is what can any of us do about it?Her best bet, if it's true, is the FBI.

Yeah, my poor husband, poor cats, poor dog....and we are eating plenty of trans fats lately....

I have the Xanax but that sure ain't putting food on the table around here. My poor DH. He works all day and comes home to me glued to WS. He just can't compete.

Well, I got the same thing too, which then made me question the "Baez didn't call me, I called him" thing too. :waitasec:

Allegedly. There is no proof of this at all. The GPs do enough to bring heat on themselves.
Proof? Hell, no.

What would be the intent of someone pointing a finger in a particular direction? Oh yeah, suspicion.

I haven't seen anyone trash Renea personally. If you post something like that in this type of environment you should expect to have questions asked. Just because not everyone believes it means we shouldn't be able to comment on what we think.

Could be she thinks it wasn't JG and that she wants the public to know that an attempt was made to set him up via her? Could be that she's worried about someone other than JG coming for her or using her in some way.

I have no idea, just trying to consider all the angles. I believe she thought the child looked like Caylee and did the right thing in reporting it, but I don't think it actually was Caylee -- it'd be crazy for someone to have her out in full public view.

Right she did say she wondered if she had been "used" by the Anthonys. Doh! I just defended her again! :)

This I agree with. So much confusion so little beer....LOL:)

I actually believed her! Guess I am gullible?

We all need to be careful on the net. There is no way to tell who someone really is, or know their motive....until it's too late. A healthy dose of skepticism never hurts.

I about pee'd my pants

Good! I was trying to interject some levity...but I really do want someone to ask him point blank about it. :)

(Same to you, PotatoHead! Glad you were amused...)

Thanks for not laughing....I get most of them but didn't quite get that one as the letters would twist but essentially it is the same thing. I's smart sometimes (scratching mullet...)

Mullet?!?!?!? Now that's funny...

Personally, for me, this would be a really great reality show...if only a beautiful child wasn't missing.

Harsh. That would be evil-incarnate.
