Well let's see if BH Padilla orders it, and is allowed to use it without getting in any trouble.

I would guess that the device is legal. The hard part is to get somebody's pings. He can get Casey's because presumably, she would have given her phone provider permission to release her phone records to Padilla. But I don't see how he can get anybody else's without their consent. He has no special right to Amy or Ricardo or anyone else's cell phone records. If on the other hand, LE has the cell phone records of these other individuals, lawyer Baez might be able to get those records from LE under limited circumstances. I would assume that if Baez can get those records, then Padilla would get to process those pings. But that LE might have the cell phone records of those other individuals does not automatically entitle Baez to those records.

Actually I would hope that Casey isn't that dumb to use her real name for registration to a new page.

I typed in Casey Anthony and a few popped up along with this one. When I put in FL as the state it popped up again.

Hey Sleuthers,
I've had my ear to the ground on this case since about two days after it broke. I wasn't able to log on here because WS did not like my email provider...Anyway, about two weeks ago I heard some information, let's just call it "gossip" about this case. At that time I believed (like many here do) that Cagey acted alone. However, I heard that the theory is that she did not. The "gossip" goes like this: Cagey was partying with "her boyfriend" (insert whichever one you think that to be) and leaves Caylee in the car, forgetting about her while "smoking pot" (geez, it doesn't make you that forgetful), Caylee expires in the car and Cagey and boyfriend proceed to dispose of the body. Make of it what you will...
Before hearing the information I had assumed she acted alone because even in the case of an "accident" who in their right mind wouldn't cop to the accident (even if it is a case of neglect)? Add another party witnessing the neglect (accidental death) why wouldn't the "boyfriend" talk sense into her about calling whatever authorities need to be called?
On reflection, and knowing what we do about her lack of responsibility in life (example: not a high-school grad, no job, lives with parents, etc.) how can we imagine her disposing of her child by herself? Cagey hasn't done anything on her own accord in her whole life.
Thoughts?

If this is Casey's Myspace then she is violating the terms of her Bail. I'm not sure but I thought one of the conditions of her release was no Internet access as well as limiting all phone calls to 5 minutes. Can anyone else either confirm or deny this?
I'm not sure about the Internet access, however the limitation on the phone calls were for the landline through which the EMD is connected.

Link doesn't work but I figured it out and brought it up and it is a private myspace site. How can you see her friends? To post a link here you should go into the exployer url box and copy and post the link otherwise the links don't work here.

Link doesn't work!

Yes, that's my theory. Basically she abandoned it, and the smell could be blamed on whatever happened afterward if it was ever found. I still don't think she counted on it being towed though!! :)
I think that Casey, in her strangely omnipotent state of mind,
just left it there for her folks to pick up and clean-up, just exactly like they did.

But who is to say that one of her family members was on the net and she told them what to put on there and what to say. She could easily get around that I am sure. If the rest of the family is allowed on the net, she could "sit down" next to them and "watch". jmo

It's possible but in my opinion if she has anything to do with that site at all such as telling her mom what to write then she is walking a pretty fine line. Why would she risk getting thrown back in Jail?

JMO

That whole "my mom didnt kill me" webpage sounds like something Cindy would post as a support to her daughter, OR *maybe* if casey does have any friends that believe her still, then they made it. I think this page is one in a million, cause we know Casey doesnt have many supporters of anything she says. All this is JMO.

I thought they had an entirely seperate line installed for the EMD? I don't think they can use that line at all - I think it is strickly for the EMD

And where did you hear this gossip from?

Sorry, I don't think that is gossip but just thoughts that have been posted here a zillions times. One of the theories here that Casey left her daughter in the car while she partied and she died due to heat, drugs or whatever. Of course its a possibility. I doubt the boyfriend was involved if that is the scenario tho. I don't think he would bother to do that for someone he only knew a few weeks if it wasn't his fault.

These things are always hard to prove, of course, but if LE was convinced that Casey was using the internet by instructing her family members to hit certain keys on the keyboard and to go to specific pages, they would revoke her bail.

In this hypothetical, Casey would be deemed to be using the computer, and surfing the web.

I doubt this is her, and here's why. On LP's page, this person is listed as one of his friends, on page 4 of 4 when you select "show all friends". I'm pretty sure the way it works is, as you add friends, the newest ones are on page 1 and the oldest ones get pushed back, under the show all option.

If that is the case, then this person would have been added a bit ago. Unless he just created his page and already is up to 4 pages of friends, which I doubt.

But then again, I could be totally wrong, it wouldn't be the first time LOL

IF..... IF..... someone was with her when Caylee died.... I STILL don't believe he'd help her cover it up.

And if he did.... after this became a sick circus...... he would have hired a lawyer, easily gotten immunity & confessed to LE that he helped her cover up an accidental death.

Nope. She acted alone. If she had any help, it was after her family finally found out she misplaced her baby 31 days earlier.

It wasn't private earlier. It only had "Tom" and "Leonard" as a friend. It was made today.

Leaving a child in a hot car is not an 'accidental death'. If someone was convicted of doing that they were get quite a bit of jail time. Probably manslaughter charge. Or 2nd degree murder.

no it only works that way if you hit "new friends" then the new friends are on the first page. If you just hit friends the newest made pages and last made friends are last.
