You're right. It still doesn't rule out that she might have wanted the car to be stolen though, imo, since it seems the car didn't have any mechanical problem.

I personally think she was always planning the carjacking theory after deciding to move the body from the backyard, but I think she abandoned it due to the obvious smell of the car; there is no other logical reason for leaving the purse and the car seat. I also think she pretty much stayed under the influence since the 6/15, and not really into the "planned execution thing" any longer.

You need a cellphone to get the pings according to what BH Padilla is referencing regarding the 2500 pinging device. LE has the cellphone.

I'm totally lost on this. Doesn't the phone co. have a record of pings, say in some type of software. I didn't realize you had to have the phone on hand. Plz explain or give me a link, you link wizard. I'm such a dummy in this area. TIA

So if Caylee was kidnapped by drug lords, her bio dad or the nanny why would Casey have to abandon her car? If it was the stinking pizza then all she had to do was take the frigging pizza out of her trunk. That particular event doesn't fit into that scenario very well.

This is totally off topic, but it is bugging me. Last night my son and I were talking about a murder that occured about 15 years ago in the florida keys. It was a young couple, they had not been married to long- they were both murdered in there home, and tortured- for the longest time the family had huge billboards up in the keys asking for information. It was rumored that it was drug smugglers that killed the couple- I have searched every way I know how and for the life of me can not find the name of this couple. You guys are so good at this, I wanted to throw this out on the board and see if anyone had any luck.

I'm guessing if LP can find a way to ping a phone and find out a persons movements, then LE must have already done that with Casey's phone and they know all her movements.

Well, it may not be odd to you just odd for me because my 20-somethings go out of town, not out of state, not out of country due to being strapped for cash all the time. They have rent, elec, cable, car payment, car insurance, student loan repayment plans and partying. Most 20- somethings are still in college and do not have jobs yet that require "business trips". So, making big trips at the drop of a hat is kind of odd at least for me.

I doubt it costs very much to travel from Fla. to Puerto Rico in the summer. I don't know if she has friends or family there that she might have stayed with.

Tony went to NY on a business trip, IIRC

Jesse went to GA to stay with a brother. He probably drove there.


I don't know if any of these kids go to college OR have loans to pay off.... some kids have scholarships so not all have big loans either.

I'm just saying, I wouldn't rush to assume that unmarried kids taking off for a week or so would necessarily set my radar off.

I think, sad to say that this case will never be resolved. Unless this childs body is found and some sort of evidence, clear evidence is found- this idiot will get away. If it ever goes to trial, her attorney can cause so much doubt that a jury will not find her guilty. When you sit on a jury, you take it very serious- and if there is any doubt, regardless if you know someone did it, most studies have shown that a jury will find them not guilty because the evidence just was not there

Casey actually might have got away with the perfect murder. Amazing, people like this always get away with stuff, I have seen it to many times.

Your not alone with being lost. I am trying to figure out what BH Padilla needs in order to use the device he mentioned last night. I believe it is the NVIDIA APX2500. There is a chip that is involved with this system and I would really have to read all involved to understand if they need a cellphone to put the chip in and then run it through this device, OR if they have to climb the cell tower (just kidding) to get the pings.

all I remember is it was in the upper keys, very young couple- brutal death and whoever killed them was in the home for hours and tortured the wife to try and get information. It appeared the husband was killed after the wife- it was very strongly rumored due to the way it all happened that possible the husband was a smuggler, and maybe he did not turn over the drugs or the money.

I am holding onto hope that LE has the evidence. They are just getting their ducks in a row. I think JB is scared, hence the public appearances in attempt to get LE to release some of their information as well as cast doubt. If WSer's have managed to gather all this info without technology and forensics, then I am sure they have a good handle on things. It really is their ball and until they decide to release it then all we can do is speculate. Don't give up hope in LE!!!

One more thing about the car. When George went to pick it up I believe Cindy went also. Someone had to take him there. I believe he drove it home and being a former LE he knew what the smell was. They just did not know what happened, to who! JMO
