Caylee Anthony General Discussion Thread #127

All the controversies and theories aside, I have a question:

Why is this case out of the thousands of missing children cases so astonishingly compelling?

This discussion has already tallied over 80,000 posts, almost as many as the Ramsay case in more than its decade plus.

I think because she didnt report it for 31 days, and her bizzarre behavior after it was reported. It wasnt your typical "Johnys missing from the supermarket" story.

I posted this before, and didn't get a reply. I'm old school and my clubbing days about a hundred years ago. All of the hand & finger gestures with these kids partying seem to be all about sex - the girls with the sideways V sign for "available" ???? I don't want to start a discussion about g**g signs or real explicit stuff here, but could someone under 30 tell me? Free to PM me.......

I know it sounds weird, but it's really just a "wanna be" thing. It NORMALLY means nothing...just stupid crap people do to pose for a picture. It gets on my nerves really everytime I see people doing it. But, it all started from the rappers and the hip hop music scene. People are just copying their pictures. It's stupid and lame...but people do it all the time. Half the time, they don't even know what sign they are throwing. They just make it cuz they have seen it done before and their friends do it for pics. That's the only time people do it....just to pose for the pic...

I am holding onto hope that LE has the evidence. They are just getting their ducks in a row. I think JB is scared, hence the public appearances in attempt to get LE to release some of their information as well as cast doubt. If WSer's have managed to gather all this info without technology and forensics, then I am sure they have a good handle on things. It really is their ball and until they decide to release it then all we can do is speculate. Don't give up hope in LE!!!

I hope so. Even George and Cindy are not even making an attempt to act like they are looking for there grandaughter anymore. No moving bill board, no press conferences with any information that will notify the public of anyone of interest, nothing.

so very true! You can tell the difference in true gang members, and this group has nothing to do with gangs.

I have asked this even to myself, I think we all saw a pretty young girl in the beginning and we all thought "how normal" and "all American", pretty, Universal Studios, parents helping raise a grandchild in a nice home, etc., and then we watched it turn into dysfunction junction

One more thing about the car. When George went to pick it up I believe Cindy went also. Someone had to take him there. I believe he drove it home and being a former LE he knew what the smell was. They just did not know what happened, to who! JMO

Do we really know that George picked up the car?

Don't follow, sorry. What airplane sighting?

Isabelle,
Ray'sMom

A tip that Cindy received the very first week after Casey was arrested. Supposedly the tipster was going to supply a sketch to LE, but it never happened.
I've got a rough thunderstorm over the house. May get knocked out for awhile.

http://www.tracerservices.com/ seems to be a main supplier of ping services.

I clicked on Phone Services and got this message:
Phone Searches
ICU Inc. has permanently discontinued sale of any phone searches.

On January 12th 2007 President Bush signed H.R. 4709 The Telephone Records and Privacy Protection Act of 2006. It is now illegal to sell, transfer, or possess confidential phone records. Confidential phone records are defined in the act as: information relating to the the quantity, technical configuration, type, destination, location, or amount of use of a service offered by a phone company.

The Telephone Records and Privacy Protection Act of 2006 also includes an "Extraterritorial Jurisdiction" clause which prohibits foreign companies like ICU from selling or reselling any telephone records.

ICU Inc. has permanently discontinued sale of any phone searches. Since it is a felony to sell or resell such records, the act of soliciting us to sell you phone records would also be illegal. Please do not call our offices to discuss telephone searches. We will terminate the call. Your caller ID data will be turned over to the proper authorities.

I am new to posting here but have read for a long time. This is a truly wonderful place to be a part of. Anyway....I always go back to the car being left. To me that is the key to this puzzle. If she had really broken down and called her dad, the car would have been picked up instead of being towed. I am sure you guys have talked about this before, but this is the piece that really bothers me. Is it a fact that her purse and keys were left in the car????

Maybe someone hijacked Casey and Caylee from the car, and couldnt stand listening to Caseys lies, so they only kept Caylee :rolleyes:

Patty my friend, at this point DO WE KNOW ANYTHING? The ONLY thing I believe to be a fact right now is Casey Anthony is at home sleeping in her own bed and Caylee Anthony ISN'T!

Not really, I think he did because I feel with his experience he would have known immediately what the smell was. But it could have been Cindy and Lee. Don't think they have ever really said.

I doubt it costs very much to travel from Fla. to Puerto Rico in the summer. I don't know if she has friends or family there that she might have stayed with.

Tony went to NY on a business trip, IIRC

Jesse went to GA to stay with a brother. He probably drove there.

I don't know if any of these kids go to college OR have loans to pay off.... some kids have scholarships so not all have big loans either.

I'm just saying, I wouldn't rush to assume that unmarried kids taking off for a week or so would necessarily set my radar off.

No, your correct it really wouldn't set my radar off except for the fact that they all had 1 thing in common and that was they were friends with CA and they all left around the same times IIRC so for me it would be something to look into.

That I agree with. That would give her an out for the smell.
Yes, that's my theory. Basically she abandoned it, and the smell could be blamed on whatever happened afterward if it was ever found. I still don't think she counted on it being towed though!! :)

This is just another handheld windows mobile device, what is it connection to ping tracking?

I'm not saying this is the device, but when I searched out 2500 ping device, this is what popped up. In the demo, it has a navigation map, and there is some sort of chip that goes to a cellphone and plays on this device.

so true! I am surprised that we have not seen mental health specialists come to the home, if it was me in this situation, I would need to see a shrink on a weekly basis and be under medication. Actually, the entire family should be seeking counseling

I feel George was working on that day as he started his new job on the 15th. I posted a link here earlier where George mentions if he was home perhaps the 911 call would have gone differently.
